Peterborough vs kings Lynn 7/6/21
mrss replied to Gasser90's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I read that Bradley Wilson Dean is back in this country. Could he replace Proctor? Or are Lynn going to let him go elsewhere then say there isn’t anyone available. Even Simon Lambert would be better than Proctor. -

Another embarrassing performance from Kings Lynn Stars tonight. Surely Proctor has to go. -

I stand corrected. In Sun tv mag and today’s Sun and in Speedway Star it says Wolves v Sheffield. Makes me wonder why people bother with speedway. -

Don’t think it was ever advertised to be on TV tonight. Every tv listing I have seen and the speedway star has Wolves v Sheffield on Eurosport tonight. -
Get rid of Proctor, replace him with Sam Jensen .

Ridiculous statement.
-
Well done the Stars. Great result that proved me and all the doubters wrong.
-
Surely with Proctor now at reserve ,Stars should be stronger.
-
When Buster is in a bad mood he could make a convent full of nuns unharmonious.
-
None of the riders you suggest are number ones. Even with Cook the team was one heat leader short. How the hell Proctor keeps his place is a mystery.
-
Dreadful performance tonight. Time to look at making changes to the team. Won’t be easy to find riders but surely got to be looking into it. Broc Nicol was supposed to be a Kings Lynn rider at one stage but for some reason he is at Wolves, despite Scroek saying he had signed a 2 year deal as a Star.

Yes he did say that. Ipswich have 3 league points, Kings Lynn have 0. How the hell can that feel like a win? -

Peter Schroeck might be content with the Stars performance last night, but I am not. Losing at home isn’t acceptable to anyone. If teams want to win anything they must start by winning home meetings, any away points are a bonus. -

Lynn News website had an article about Jorgensen struggling to get here from Denmark. No scaremongering from me, just saying what I read. -

Preview of tonight’s meeting in today’s EDP doesn’t list tonight’s teams. Wouldn’t be surprised if Riss is missing, and I read somewhere that Jorgensen is struggling to get back from Denmark. -

Does anyone know if fans attending the Ipswich meeting, will be able to buy a ticket for the next home meeting in person from the stadium. -

It seems getting a ticket for next Monday’s meeting has been a typical Kings Lynn Speedway balls up. Places like Glastonbury sell tens of thousands of tickets without problems, yet Lynn can’t sell 1500 without problems. I seem to have spent 80 pounds on 2 tickets for next week and 2 for the Belle Vue meeting in June. What happened to the 2 home meetings in between I haven’t got a clue. -

After reading the piece in today’s EDP , I think Riss won’t be riding for the Stars next Monday. If that is the case , surely he will be banned for 28 days for withholding his services. Or have I read it wrong? -

What’s good about British Speedway? Having a team to support. Having a night out for 20 quid. Watching the young riders develop into decent riders. The British youth meeting at Lynn last year was worth the admission money. And most of all from my point of view, watching the Stars beat Ipswich Witches. -

My head isn’t in the sand. Some people on here do nothing but point out the things that are wrong with British Speedway. It would be better if they pointed out the few good things about British Speedway instead of being negative all the time. -

With people like you taking every opportunity to knock British speedway, it’s little wonder it’s dying on its feet. -

Surely the admission price can’t be increased. A team with only one heat leader , Lambert replaced by Bridger can’t justify a increase. -

It seems to me that Buster doesn’t care to much about Kings Lynn now. So he won’t care if the crowd is big or not. According to today’s Speedway Star he would like to see Peterborough win some silverware. -

Totally agree. I am sure people won’t be happy with any price increase. -
Perhaps a lot of promotors are like me and still not convinced the season will go ahead .
