  1. I think we can all clearly see who deviated the thread and created that whole ballyhoo !!! As usual should I say. Maybe your friends who sometimes look in or even one or two of your family who help you out can have a word in your shell like this time
  2. I think tea boy does though have a point in that those sports are very low profile. Even if they played out on arenas with a few hundred capacity I haven’t heard that the tickets are in such demand. I know also having seen posters for the table tennis Bundesliga that the adverts are basically local village on lamppost things alongside village fetes etc, not even regional. Go to the next village or town and there is nothing
  3. I remember seeing Kononov at Güstrow one year in a quali that Andrew Tully was in. Maybe that year
  4. Most withut a reply, unless gustix replies to himself. So maybe he does have a point, and nobody is interested ? at least in what he posts !!!
  5. I’d imagine even less are interested in Stock Cars, but it never stops you. Anyway this section is specifically for years gone by. Anyone not interested will just avoid it. Easy
  6. Yes and unless Finland find a big sponsor anywhere apart from Scandinavia is too costly for you lol
  7. It is quite ironic really the complaint about peoplewanting correct historical stats comes from someone who had an infamous thread where a couple of his aliases were chatting to each other propogating the myth that Hoskins started the sport in Maitland
  8. It is true to an extent. The thing is and of course it is part necessity, part enough time on their hands and maybe part local help, but western ice racers seem to travel and ride without much problem in Russia And tbh if there are real problems for riders then Russia shouldn’t be allocated international meetings
  9. To be quite frank I doubt I am alone in not seeing the worth in about 80% of your posts. And I am trying to be fair here. I’d even go so far as to say the forum improves when you stop posting, somewhat
  10. Yes, but it isn’t the first time a meeting had had problems with riders/ teams dropping out. As Bavarian say’s elsewhere, the Russians always make it to the rest of Europe. But all too often western riders don’t want to travel on the opposite direction
  11. From memory Wölbert was in the same semi-final and I was watching the updates and wondering who this youngster was.....
  12. Ok.Good to know. All I saw was a poster that said Lodz !!! Then again it seems to be the thing to do, especially if you are Ryanair
  13. Surely a manager has to be a good communicator. Sam bumbles through almost every sentence. How the he’ll he is on tv is beyond me
  14. Think he hit the headlines a couple of years before when he qualified for a Euro or World Final, but it was then found out he was too young to compete!! He was riding for Bydgoszcz from 2006
  15. Maybe good to put some useful sites up https://thialf.nl/evenementen/evenementenkalender?news_id=778257 You can give your email addy and get news on tickets here I think https://ticketpoint.nl/de/event/wk-ijsspeedway/ Inzell https://www.dmv-eisspeedway.de/ http://www.eisspeedway-inzell.de/ Berlin https://www.eisspeedwayberlin.de/de/home/
  16. Indeed . Adam Ellis even won the meeting over the Whitsun Holiday weekend earlier in the season
  17. Heavily weighted in Jutland with only one Slangerup rider there. Mads Hansen with 12 pts only finishing 5th!!!
  18. Łódź hosting the European Individual Final on 22-23.03 !!!
  19. This is even more surprising for me, as I can't recall the track and it was during the years I was quite active as a fan. Whereas the New Forest track was before I was born, so I have an excuse there!! Was the Faringdon track set up and used by the Oxford promotion?
  20. You know you are dealing with a strange poster when you tell them about something and they later post to inform you about it.....you’ve just been gustixed
  21. Seeing a speedway magazine on the shelf in a shop was the way I got interested again in speedway. With 200,000 people passing through the place I would say it is more important to have a few there than in a supermarket The more people, the more chance of interesting someone. And people have more time to kill and look around in an airport anyway Obviously you ain’t going to get that though, but not only was there plenty of football magazines, but they also had big ads with changing photos of Liverpool, ManU, Leicester City, Wolves and individual players..... and for good reason
