  1. Well the story gets better.Seems Antonio has said he will ride in Brokstedt, but he has agreed to ride for 2 different teams. At the moment, both Wolfslake and Landshut are claiming Lindbäck will ride for them!!!!!!
  2. Lindbäck makes his comeback in Brokstedt Lindbäck in Bundesliga
  3. Just some info to go with the Czech fixtures.Just seen that the Marketa Cup meetings are a new junior series started by Zdenek Schneiderwind for youngsters between 10 and 16 years of age on 125cc bikes. Not only restricted to Czech riders, but anyone and the winner will get a brand new bike.Sounds like a great project, which looking at the sponsors(Semtex, Semtex Forte, Semtex Light)should start with a bang!!! Website Marketa Cup
  4. Well i am doing my bit Lawrence.Have mentioned it last week and this week on the German forum
  5. Yes great stuff.Well done and especially to Lawrence.Despie not understanding Polish he does seem good at it A friend of mine was doing a similar thing for the local Cable tv in Kiel.It took him a week or two to get the meeting prepared and it still wasn't as professional as this.So i know a lot of hard work and some talent is needed. Bydgoszcz are looking good.I like the way Okoniewski is riding.Seems to be looking out for his partner.Only seen Buczkowski once live and he was impressive.Same here. And Stead looked good as well I look forward to the next meeting Here is a nice mix of speedway(Ostrow) and Polish women on this channel http://www.ostrowtv.pl/
  6. Alan Cowland was riding in both England and Germany back in the early 70s,plus there was a guy from Boston(can't remember his name now)who eventually moved out to Germany.Plus let's not forget all the Swedish riders who were comuting back and forth and caused all the controversy with the ban back in the 70s
  7. Well i did get to see the U19 meeting at Güstrow. And there is another meeting on(brought forward to saturday from the sunday now Wolfslake is cancelled)in Güstrow (at the mo).Low key Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Championship round.Fingers crossed for the next Bundesliga meeting in Brokstedt Might see you in Norden then,if the weather is fine
  8. Well it is listed as a Grass Track in the Homes of British Speedway.Held meetings 1932-37 +1946-50,so it says
  9. Very good performance from Jurica Pavlic today, including beating Hancock on the line. Seems a bit of trouble with the rain-off in Tarnow.Apparently Niels phoned Patrick Hougaard on saturday and Patrick asked what he was doing in Poland as he had been told the meeting had already been called off!!!!!.The Zielona Gora riders went to the stadium today to find the track soaked although everything else was bone dry
  10. We also have a french member,Lydia(i think) on here. Not sure how often she looks in though.Think she mainly looked in for info about the Tresarrieu bros or to post reults from France
  11. Line up for the Master of Speedway meeting is coming along, although Skornicki might be a doubt(?).Plus on Nicolai Klindts site it has him down for the meeting as well Master of Speedway Plus the line-up has been announced for next weekends(now)opening Bundesliga meeting.Let's hope the weather treats Wolfslake better Wolfslake Mathias Schultz Sebastian Ulamek(PL) Matej Ferjan(SLO/HUN) Marcin Sekula Robert Baumann (U21) Erik Pudel (U19 Diedenbergen Thomas Stange Grzegorz Walasek(PL) Mathias Bartz Peter Karlsson(S) Sergej Malyschev (U21) René Deddens (U19) Brokstedt Matthias Kröger Joonas Kylmäkorpi(FIN) Stephan Katt Tobias Kroner Sönke Petersen (U21) Ramon Stanek (U19) Neuenknick Kevin Wölbert Rafal Okoniewski(PL) Adrian Miedzinski(PL) Dominik Möller Tobias Busch (U21) Max Dilger (U19) http://speedevent.de/svg/index.php?option=...4&Itemid=27 Now this meeting has also been cancelled because of the weather!!!!
  12. I can't help in identifying the rider, but i would say it is 100% not Cyril.See here Cyril Maidment
  13. The Templetons were a couple of my favourite riders, even though i hardly got to see them.During harvesting time i think they hardly done away meetings(?) But there was the incident when Holta and Kasprzak clashed and then KK's brother and some of the team were on the track and attacking Rune while he was lying on the ground.Plus didn't T.Gollob attack Bajerski after Bajerski clashed with Jacek Gollob?
  14. What about the other thread?
  15. That was my hunch Is it my computer or does the video run stop7start for you as well?
  16. Looks pretty good Tomaz.Just i guess it is my computer, but the programme was very stop/start once the racing sterted. Not many fans there though. How on earth do they pay Zagars wages? As i have heard from a few different sources he demands a big fee
  17. Or maybe they only got around to telling Dutch about it today Everyone else knew beforehand
  18. Isn't the Miskolc meeting on the 25th? SWC Seems to be down as the 25th on this Hungarian site as well Hungary calendar
  19. Thanks for that Mateusz. Heat 8 was great.Smolinski rode better than his score suggests, although he didn't seem to have the speed of the others.Sajfutdinov looks fantastic.Just a pity the meet up with Gollob was a bit of a let down. Will there be more on this channel? All Bydgoszcz home meetings maybe? And how do you log out?.If it matters
  20. Always liked Hackney and also sunday afternoons at Eastbourne
  21. Are you his mum by any chance? You are right though about his image and press. He was of course a rider and personality in his own right, but he does in a way compare with Wiggy in that sense.Although no-one can really be compared to Wiggy.I do mean it favourably though. Just look at the competition he had just in the England squad at the time. But i always liked John Davis.More so than Simmo or DJ
  22. Any further info on Matic Voldrih?I see he will be in the Güstrow round of the World Junior Championship And will there be any official follow-up with Martinec's absence from th UEM U19 meeting at Güstrow?A fine maybe or not being nominated for international meetings in future
  23. Are you sure that isn't last years line-up?All the names look the same, even the foreigners like Sörensen and Bilgenroth
