Somewhere To Stay In Copenhagen
iris123 replied to SpeedwayTShirts's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Stayed in one right by the station last year(might have been the Nebo, not sure)and it was great.Very good breakfast and the room was clean.Must say i was a bit worried at first because the area around the station looked a bit down-at -heel and i could sense my girlfriend was a bit worried. Was perfect for them to visit the amusement park and all -
No way!He still hasn't received his from last year yet. After all that baloney about waiting for his Hungarian pass,he has been named in the Slovenian squad for the SWC

I would pick the 5 who go well at Reading, whoever they may be

A few foto's here As to the meeting.Because of the cold, windy, sunny weather, track was slick and dusty so it was mostly won from the gate.Very few good heats.I can think of maybe 4,with the race between Kling and Hougaard probably the best, passing each other a few times.Lindbäck passed Risager, while he was lying in third and cut back well on the first bend to pass Aldén.Would say Møller,Aldén and Lindgren were the best riders, but Sebastian fluffed it in the final. The Finns and the Norwegian rider looked outclassed on this occasion

iris123 replied to tomazpozrl's topic in International World of Speedway
Think you will be lucky.Denmark is normally pretty poor for updates, unless a Swedish site is doing one.I will be going to the meeting, but i'm sure the result will be posted long before i get back -
Thanks tommy. What is the problem with Hlib?I see he didn't ride in the Danish Superliga last night

Any news on Freddie Lindgren?Hope he will be fit for sunday

Line-up has been confirmed as follows: 1. Rene Lehtinen SF 2. Henrik Møller DK 3. Ricky Kling S 4. Joni Keskinen SF 5. Sebastian Aldèn S 6. Jan Graversen DK 7. Carl Johan Raugsted N 8. Patrik Hougaard DK 9. Sebastian Bengtson S 10. Aarni Heikkilä SF 11. Antonio Lindbâck S 12. Robert Petterson S 13. Morten Risager DK 14. Remi Ueland N 15. Fredrik Lindgren S 16. Lars Hansen DK ------------------------- 17. Kenneth Hansen DK 18. Claus Vissing DK Denmark with their first past the post qualification from last years U21/U19 Final have left out a few good riders such as Klindt and Madsen.Madsen in particular is a bit hard done by as he couldn't even compete in the Final as he was injured at the time. Can see a Swedish 1-2-3,but am still hoping for some good racing especially for the 4-8th places

I thought it was a public holiday today in Poland. Why is it strange and roundabout to hold speedway meetings on a public holday?
