has he ridden in the German league??... Or a German league?? Or just individuals??
-
thats counter acted by him riding in NL surely??.... One set of rules with 4or 5 interpretations.
-
time will tell, but we weren't pulling up any trees beforehand
-
regardless of it works or not.... King will get a true PL average and we should qualify for the pairs and fours now
-
i hear mala douglas is doing a 2nd half having borrowed mcgreevys old leathers??
-
no not just saying it because it's my team... But it highlights how narrow minded the set up is geared towards young Brits.... Wed rather just have them as cannon fodder with a few protected races in the EL....
-
Speedway has some crazy rules, we are talking about a 16 year old kid, one with massive potential yet we stifle his progress the same with Ellis last season.... Can these numptys not see what the rest of us do?? We should be embracing young Brits correctly and not just using them as speedway slags and a cost cutting exercise to save Elite league speedway...

What happened to Ryan's Taco hut business?? -
id rather die trying than not at all. Hats off I say. They had to do something to make speedway viable at newcastle for the rest of the season as we were already ' in the clarts ' IMO
-
funnily enough though, once his ave dropped... He then got a max, am I cynical??
-
still??..even though he's going to ride for his country next month?? That's fair enough then.
-
Don't know?... Depending on his average id be looking over my shoulder if I was in the team... They obviously want him, and he must want to come.

NEWS CENTRE Diamonds swoop for World Cup Star Thursday 8th May 2014, 23:23 UK by Paul Williams Team GB star Danny King has joined Newcastle The Sapphire Engineering Diamonds have shuffled their pack by bringing in top performer Danny King to join their ranks but hopes of adding another important key player were thwarted by the British Speedway Promoters Association Management Committee who rejected the initial 1-7 declaration which also included rising star, Robert Lambert. The club are delighted to have the hugely popular Danny King in their ranks and the Team GB rider was equally delighted to be able to join the team that his elder brother, Jason, has led to national trophy success. Danny said As soon as my Elite League team Birmingham made changes to their team that meant I had the opportunity to double up then I was hopeful that the Diamonds would be able to fit me in. I need more meetings so this is a marvellous opportunity for me and I am so excited about the challenge that the Premier League will throw up. I have always got on well with everyone at Newcastle and I hope that along with the skipper, Stuart Robson, I can also bring on the talented youngsters in the team, if only we could have got Robert Lambert as well but it seems that is unfortunately not going to happen. The Newcastle and Kings Lynn clubs are both extremely disappointed with the decision that blocks the youngster who has just declared his intention to ride for Great Britain as they both feel the actual declaration was correct and that the progress of a talented rider may be affected. For this Sundays meeting against Peterborough Nathan Greaves who rode so well for Newcastle at Scunthorpe will once again take his place in the Newcastle team. While new riders come in there has to be the same number coming out of the side and Newcastle have taken both Christian Henry and Anton Rosen out of the team for the time being. Diamonds Team Manager George English said Its always difficult when you are shuffling with averages to make changes and on this occasion it is Christian and Anton who we have had to dispense with their services. Christian has been around us a long time and both he and Anton could count themselves unlucky to be left out, but that is the way that Speedway works unfortunately due to average restrictions and we can only thank them for all their efforts for the club. presume because you can't double up on an assessed average??.... Thought that was just for foreigners lol...not 16 year old Brits
-
Surely Schrammy will go to number 2... Then back to reserve after 11th may when rose ave goes up.
-
So we went for lambert but it was blocked by the Bspa... Nathan greaves rides on Sunday and Danny king.
-
we could go with a temp reserve until lambert gets an average so he can double up ..... Wishful thinking
-
to get who we are getting we had to release 2 in the main body.
-
To be fair, changes were needed and could have been anyone
