no not just saying it because it's my team... But it highlights how narrow minded the set up is geared towards young Brits.... Wed rather just have them as cannon fodder with a few protected races in the EL....

Speedway has some crazy rules, we are talking about a 16 year old kid, one with massive potential yet we stifle his progress the same with Ellis last season.... Can these numptys not see what the rest of us do?? We should be embracing young Brits correctly and not just using them as speedway slags and a cost cutting exercise to save Elite league speedway...

The club are delighted to have the hugely popular Danny King in their ranks and the Team GB rider was equally delighted to be able to join the team that his elder brother, Jason, has led to national trophy success. Danny said As soon as my Elite League team Birmingham made changes to their team that meant I had the opportunity to double up then I was hopeful that the Diamonds would be able to fit me in. I need more meetings so this is a marvellous opportunity for me and I am so excited about the challenge that the Premier League will throw up. I have always got on well with everyone at Newcastle and I hope that along with the skipper, Stuart Robson, I can also bring on the talented youngsters in the team, if only we could have got Robert Lambert as well but it seems that is unfortunately not going to happen.
