Barry has been a class act over the years, a bit corny sometimes but he's a very good announcer, can't think of many I've heard better. A fantastic servant to newcastle speedway and a lovely bloke to boot!! Thank you and congrats on this milestone Barry in the box.

Dave I was in wallsend,...until 2pm...I live in wallsend.... And certainly no hail storm was around me... I was in the garden in shorts...., I then went to my sisters just off welbeck rd and there was a heavy shower for 20mins.... I'm not saying the track wasn't unfit, my post says the opposite.....

unless the track was desperate then it's def the wrong call.... Given when it was called off and given the rain since then ( hardly any if any at all) then surely there was time to get it raceable.... ?? Yes we all understand the panthers and travelling but it's part and parcel..... On warm sunny evening aswell

he rode at Scunny for us.... He's a good rider, has had a very successful junior career and will do well for us if we give him time.
