depends what you want to pay?? Village hotel is lovely at silver link north £80 a double room.... About 5-6 mile from the track....other than that your looking at jesmond or the city centre.... Nothing much cop within walking distance really. -
george is one of the most experienced there is but keeps doing this and it's costing us points IMO.... We need to be more ruthless in these situations, any other team manager would be....The way robbo is dropping points he will be 3rd in our averages before long and not at number one.... Meaning everyone could take a rr, but it's asking for trouble if we get another injury or someone has an off night.

just been on about it tonight, be one league shortly and the premier league will be shafted IMO.... Makes you wonder why Poole are signing up some of the better riders in the prem... Fat maud ain't daft.

didnt Ron Lyon come in with fresh ideas which were dismissed out of hand and he ultimately walked.... It's a poison chalice man, even Paul Daniels wouldn't have made a difference. We as a nation always look for a scapegoat to justify our frustration and disappointment when the sad fact is, barring Tai ( who wasn't very good either) we have NOBODY who is able to compete consistently at world level... The problem is at grassroots level and has been for years!!A few clubs run training schools etc but there is little or no incentive to get into speedway... It's a closed shop and will remain so for the foreseeable future, we need to deal with it. -

Then again Nichols isn't good enough also!!... Until we run the sport properly in our country then we will always be also rans.... The Bspa seriously need to look into our failings and to why we have a lack of genuine talent coming through.... It's ok for them to throw them in at club level and tell them how fab they are, but to mix with the best we need to do something different. Maybe this should be of paramount importance at the annual conference rather than the petty squabbling we've heard over the years. Buck stops with them and noone else. -

when else could we have used the joker?? We had to do something because heats were running out and we may not have got another chance.... Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if it had of worked you would probably be tucked up, content in bed by now. -

each to their own, but cook and kennett were abysmal on Monday and to keep them in would have been daft IMO.... -

how was it bad selection?? Who do we have that would have done better???...... Don't answer, because you know we have no one -
his EL average maybe has, but we all know how bad that has become with the majority of riders PL riders or a similar standard, don't get me wrong,he's a decent rider and entertaining...but not good enough or consistent enough for to be classed good enough for GB. It's only that we are so bad with a shortage of riders that his name is mentioned in that bracket.
