  1. Its totally illogical to be found able to give consent to one man and totally unable to give consent to the other having had the same amount to drink... And this was the crux of the case, not did she go back willingly etc etc...it can never be proven that she agreed to sex with mcdonald or Evans... As she cant recall. If she was found to be medically unable to consent to Evans, there is no way on this earth she was able to medically give consent to McDonald... Regardless of her actions in the pizza shop etc.... They jury have made a decision hypothetically imo and how it has stood up and passed the appeal process is staggering.... then again its not the first time it happened, with the appeal courts siding with the crown.
  2. Yeah English... Dont bite man, its Xmas xx Lindgren should have a capital L aswell... Not sure about Bill though??
  3. journeymen is a bit harsh?? We have at least 3 of the brightest talents in recent years to emerge in English speedway in Kerr, Rose and Worrall in recent years?? Rosen aint a journeyman and lindgren although not my cup of tea is hardly old.... Only maybe Henry fits the bill dekker??
  4. Think the comma button and a few others are still knackered??
  5. you not got middlo, mat, ez, gary, harry and shovlars presents to wrap??
  6. 3 pints an hour mal?? then pretend you're a blues brother or jon bon jovi haha
  7. yes i totally understand, im not defending him im puzzled how he could be PROVEN guilty in a court of law given the evidence( we are innocent until PROVEN guilty arnt we?)... sneaking out of a hotel dont make you a rapist, its the issue of consent.... How do you know she in that room she didnt?? Its word v word, infact its 1v2.... You're basing your opinion on the jurys verdict. The young lady didnt cry rape either, it was the police.... She said she couldnt remember... Which is bollox in the opinion of one of the countrys leading brain injury lawyers, ( who deals with alcohol and its effects for a living) the amount she claims to have drunk wouldnt make her fall into an unconcious state with total amnesia. A jurys verdict is 12 peoples opinion based on the known facts, the deciding and most mitigating factor was the issue and ability to consent.... this young lady was that drunk and shortly unconcious just after bending down in high heels and picking a pizza off the floor, and walking to the room... He may have raped her and if he did he deserves everything he got... But...he may have not .. This cannot be proven at all...Either way his behavior wasnt right....but the verdict stinks imo because he has been convicted on probilaritys and the victims lack of memory to agree. What are the differences between the speedway case and this?? One guilty and one not with more or less the same scenario..... What were the differences between bill roache, DLT and max clifford?? The evidence was more or less the same.... 2 cleared one guilty. If ever there was a unsafe coviction it this imo, yes the appeal failed, but an appeal is generally based on weather the law wasnt carried out correctly, not what actual circumstances individual aspects of the case are. aye sorry.
  8. ive read the evidence, they accused mcdonald of rape... He wasnt?? Someone should be held to account for this false allegation, this poor footballer has been through the mill and will have this stigma around his neck for the rest of his life... I feel heartly sorry for him.... He must have been worried sick that she could consent one min then 5 mins later couldnt... Nerve wracking no doubt.
  9. did the lady in question then make a false allegation against Mcdonald then?? If Evans is a rapist, is the young lady a liar?? Should the public condem her for this??, a very odd case and sequence of events.( tin hat on) Oh i forgot she couldnt remember sorry.
  10. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/11310292/Ched-Evans-must-be-allowed-to-play-football-and-society-answers-to-the-rule-of-law-not-the-mob.html Spot on imo Is this the same Charlie Webster who was gutted she never got a picture with Mike Tyson???..... The convicted rapist?? Is the woman is a hypocrite?
  11. its 6.24, then kerr, rose and worrall may get reductions of 2.5%
  12. Did bonus points count in the fisher v kenni debate?? Or are the monarchs moving the goalposts? To suit? I cant recall
  13. Barker will be taking up a big chunk of any budget i would think, so maybe hands are tied a little??
  14. yes i do agree, maybe he should have said somrthing along those lines, but very much doubt his lawyers advised it. I also feel the lady in question must have had no self respect to go to a hotel room to have sex with a stranger, if that was my daughter shed get both barrels regardless of what ensued later..... Young women should also treat young men with respect, not in this case but it works both ways!!.
  15. that would be the worst team assembled since speedways invention
  16. so if you knew you were innocent, even though convicted, youd just admit it because youd exhausted all avenues?? Not a chance, doesnt matter what the courts say etc, if he thinks hes innocent or knows hes innocent he should never show remorse imo. If a young lass went to police and made allegations against you, that you knew were false and you were tryed and convicted, would you show remorse because youd been found guilty or because the verdict was found to be reached within the law on appeal?? Surely you wouldnt? The law is an ass and a conviction is a jurys opinion based on supposed facts.... Facts in this case that couldnt be proven unless you were there. im not saying he was, im saying if i knew i was or thought i was i wouldnt show remorse and nor would most folk.... Why should Evans or Sutcliffe be any different?? Btw sutcliffe confessed but pleaded not guilty on grounds of diminished responsability.
  17. if you knew or beilved you were innocent you wouldnt though, neither would i... Never in a million years would i, convicted or not.
  18. just pay the bloke by the roundabout £20, he will give you a burger and let you in... No problemo
  19. he might struggle if he had to change his visa sponsor.
