  1. Yes it all about opinions Sadly some folks glass is always half empty but that is what Brits are like I really enjoyed the meeting
  2. Write off Scunthorpe at peril everyone. They have some very decent away performances this season and have in Barker, Aulty and Allen big double score riders from past at Berwick. Nielsen and Lambert more than capable and just needs young Kinsley to be in points!
  3. I dont know you Sir or Madam but you generally not happy with your club it seems? Correct me if wrong? Why not drop email or letter to them to put right the wrongs They might be looking for a web master and bite your hand off It could freshen up the web No doubt as with most clubs it done by an overworked volunteer
  4. Good enough post mate Belle Vue and Scunthorpe to me are best 'racing' tracks although lots riders (Kev Doolan has mentioned before I think) dont like latter due to stock car fence behind speedway one? Racing has been poor at tracks I visited in main this season (Redcar ok) and it seems engines have outstripped tracks in UK these days eh?
  5. Yeh it disappointing mate that team is bottom, it never looks good in a table but to be fair to your club they aint played many at home and should be about mid table on that plus and minus home away point dial but it is what it is 1 Leicester 16 8 0 0 2 Glasgow 12 6 0 0 3 Somerset 15 6 0 2 4 Redcar 13 5 0 1 5 Sheffield 12 6 0 1 6 Scunthorpe 14 4 1 2 7 Eastbourne 14 5 0 2 8 Birmingham 13 4 0 3 9 Edinburgh 11 4 0 1 10 Newcastle 11 4 0 2 11 Berwick 11 3 0 1 LEAGUE SCORING SYSTEM
  6. Bang on mate Keep going and supporting your local club and have bit moan at times LOL Its a Brit way of life
  7. We will agree to disagree mate Thats good thing about GB You dont get locked away or disappear off planet for comments like couple of my friends abroad who I aint heard of for 2 years I will say again as my glass is often half full unlike majority of Berwick fans who post, Redcar were beaten if the score had been 40-32 after Heat 12. It wasnt and they won. But like all club forums you can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time. You should try watching the local soccer team They aint won since March
  8. It wont change mate It is what it is Its not BV or Scunny Can I ask and this not meant as criticism Do you still go? Lots folks have plenty to offer
  9. To be fair mate Berwick dont have a Belle Vue Redcar were ok but got lucky in Heat 12 A 40-32 lead would have finished them The track is what it is and until someone comes up with solution will no doubt not change. Problem is with lots folk the glass is half empty but that is a trait for Brits
  10. You have to admit despite result they got lucky! That heat when Flint fell was a dialled in 5-1 and a 40-32 lead
  11. My french friends had go at me. " You Brits, your hobby is moaning, if it not weather it brexit, football, money and speedway" Obviously it was in French!
  12. You have to admit despite result they got lucky! That heat when Flint fell was a dialled in 5-1 and a 40-32 lead
  13. I wasnt in line for comments on starts but 'Sparks' made a point on jumps in earlier post on here last night. Heat 15 was ok though Good passes late race. I have to say track looked very good pre match. I travel about and take in Speedway here and there mate and only 2 tracks this season have produced top racing Belle Vue and Scunthorpe, most of others processional and boring so while folk moan on forums it same almost everywhere these days. Its easiest thing in world to criticise and rest assured I do it too but unless folks step forward and offer better solutions or even offer to come in and invest or take over or maybe powers that be could start something I think they did few years ago and do Track guy courses it is what it is
  14. Redcar were somewhat fortunate to win the meeting Garcia not leaving start in one heat and Flint losing chain I think on a sure 5-1 late on which would have out Berwick 40-32 up and almost out of reach
  15. Should see some others Think Berwick have changed web address Like all clubs it will be done by volunteers who no doubt have day jobs too?
  16. Should see some others Think Berwick have changed web address Like all clubs it will be done by volunteers
  17. Regarding Morris I imagine Lakeside suited him in so many ways, one being close to Stansted for flights overseas at a weekend
  18. Did I not read that it was longer and narrower in early days and bikes no where near as powerful? Maybe if you know the track people there go in and offer your advices on best way forward on preperation? Just an idea they may welcome input
  19. Well said Pity several posters on the Berwick pages these days have lot to say and be critical of but dont even attend. Its what it is sadly and could this year be last at Berwick? Who knows. Its never perfect at Berwick with track shape but can you see it changing?
  20. Garcia has disappointed recently Its a fair comment from a lot of fans He should be picking up far more but I just wonder if that injury he collected several weeks ago when on fire has hit him harder than thought? Riders tend to try come back to early sometimes as it their living. I recall if not mistaken Barker doing that at Berwick when with club.
  21. Garcia looks a mere shadow of the early season rider. He guested for Newcastle tonight and think only got 1 point
  22. It certainly looks like a cost saving excercise and it shows how tough things must be. Use of RR will be lot less costly than a guest, with higher points money no doubt and travel, but they need a guest away for certain
