Trust the BSPA. A clash of dates already. WSRA will be holding the Celebration of Speedway the same day. This was planned last year. Why couldn't the promoters pick another date, there are plenty more to chose from. Well I know where I shall be heading.......WSRA. to celebrate Speedway in the good old day's when it was run by people who truly cared about the sport.

Nice to see Chris talking to Sarjeant to give him some confidence and coax him along.......unlike the Coventry pair of team managers.( I don't think we want to see Havvy sticking his tong out at the camera) I for one think the lad needs a good mentor to get him round his rough spots. We need young lads to keep British speedway going.

What a total waste of money for everyone, yet again. Why the hec these people bought the house in the first place without knowing what was happening in the area. The main noise in Mildenhall is from the USA airbase and close by Lakenheath base. The noise from these base's can be at times all day long. The sound from Speedway .......less than half hour, once a week and for a few months in the afternoon. I live 20 min's from this area and have plane's from 3 Air base's flyng over, sometimes day and night and they make more noise than Speedway bikes ever did and do now. Rather hear both of these than ....Screaming children living close by,spoiling a quiet afternoon in the garden. Good Luck Mildenhall.......I'm sure we Speedway supporters can all put a good word into the court.

I for one know and have many gay friends, all good mates to have. One being the rider mentioned.he was a good member of the team giving his support to other riders, helping in anyway....like the loan of his bike.He was a good friend to everyone who knew him.We girls loved him.It was a very sad day not only for his close family but his many friends who cared about him when we had to say it was good to have known you.To this day, miss him and wish we could still have a laugh down the pub remembering the good old days of the 60s & 70s

yes, sadly both Jack and his brother in law Dick Fisher have passed on. Two True gentlemen of the sport.

Very sad start to the new year. Alan was a true gent, always had time to speak to the fans which every track he raced. He always gave 101% to the sport. A great loss to his friends and family

Saw Martin Rodgers at Kings Lynn,Season2002.He was over here on holiday. Believe his son still lives in England and is a sports writer for a british paper.
