  1. Danyon guested for Oxford last night so good to see they are keeping busy over the 3 week break
  2. Jack Smith signed for rest of season just been announced
  3. All the cup competitions should have designated dates like the football. Year after year we have the same situation with cup fixtures.
  4. We normally get better crowds against the likes of Redcar & Workington, will BSN coverage make people think twice about travelling ?
  5. will be interesting to see Klidermand probably stay on 8.50 as only had 5 meetings and needs 6 for a proper average
  6. To be fair Jack Smith has done a good job so it wouldn't be a shock if we kept him
  7. aye he does go around A lot slower the regular drivers are lik eWacky Races. Still say they need to blade it and bring dirt back from fence seeing as the rakes are in a time capsule 😁😁
  8. i think there will be some parking but very limited. As i said i was over at stadium yesterday and there were barriers and fence posts everywhere.Even more annoying is that the next 2 Saturdays are free.
  9. i had just posted mine when Catch me if you Can's appeared lol will try and delete it
  10. Bandits welcome Poole Pirates as they get their 2025 League Campaign under way. Poole will be spearheaded by Richard Lawson and the impressive Anders Rowe, with 2024 Bandit Lewis Kerr no doubt looking to impress. For the Bandits Sam Hagon moves into the Number 2 berth, with Danyon Hume now partnering Drew Kemp. As with the previous home meetings this season i can see another tight meeting. Berwick (TM Stewart Dickson) 1 Craig Cook 2 Sam Hagon 3 Drew Kemp 4 Danyon Hume 5 Peter Kildemand 6 Dayle Wood 7 Jack Smith Poole (TM Gary Havelock) 1 Richard Lawson 2 Tobias Thomsen 3 Anders Rowe 4 Zach Cook 5 Lewis Kerr 6 Paul Starke 7 Darryl Ritchings
  11. Been over this morning to the stadium for my dogs morning chase a ball, and a lot of the car park area has been fenced and roped off for the motor cycle rally. Had this been the Glasgow meeting this would have been a nightmare. Free Saturday last week and 2 more free Saturdays on the 24th & 31st surely could have been better planned.
  12. Busload of us Bandits fans went on a southern tour in 1987. Tuesday Milton Keynes v Berwick, Wednesday Wimbledon v Berwick, Thursday Arena Essex v Berwick, Friday Peterborough v Berwick, Saturday Canterbury v Berwick, Sunday Rye House v Berwick. Tragic thing is we are the only ones currently running.
  13. Your right i remenber Granty Sr worked in a garage, Steve McDermott worked at Massey Ferguson the majority of them had normal jobs. Riders had to use up holidays for away meetings. I can remember going on a southern tour and Berwick had about 4 meetings in a week.
  14. The clubs say they can't do 2H 2A yet we {Berwick} have 3 blank Saturdays in May
  15. Does the car park not belong to council ? The shows are there this weekend but thankfully no meeting
  16. People still go on about the Under 21 meeting and how good the racing was, hard to imagine that was in 2013. The track prep that night was different with the tractors doing figure of 8's to bring the dirt back, plus track staff had rakes them days to also help bring the dirt back from the fence.
  17. Averages normally change around 23rd of each month becoming effective on 1st of each month. When next averages come out Kildermand will i think still be on assessed average of 8.50 as he will only have had 5 out of the 6 meetings required to get a proper average. Cookie and Kemps averages could possibly go up as well.
  18. Bandits will be looking for a decent lead as they take on the Redcar Bears at Shielfield tonight. For the Bandits, Jack Smith will make his home debut in place of Bastian Borke while the Tigers call up Leon Flint as a guest for GP Wildcard Eril Riss, with Freddy Hodder & Jody Scott stepping in for the injured Ace Pijper & Tom Spencer. BERWICK: Craig Cook, Danyon Hume, Sam Hagon, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith. REDCAR: Charles Wright, Jake Mulford, Jason Edwards, Leon Flint, Danny King, Freddy Hodder, Jody Scott.
  19. If you read his interview in the Speedway Star Craig explains why he didn't ride for Leicester
