  1. Needs to ride 6 meetings to get proper average. We are in the same boat at Berwick Reid has only had 2 meetings due to injury.
  2. We ran on a Friday night many seasons ago against Newport
  3. we were supposed to start season on April 4th but weather won from April 4th to October 31st is 31 Saturdays. Allowing for British GP & Glasgow GP 29 Saturdays to hold if we had the best season ever 17 meetings
  4. Palovaara & Fredriksen riding in GP Qualifier at Glasgow May 30th
  5. Pavements not even wet thats how light the rain is. No meeting as yet next Saturday on fixture list maybe that will change.
  6. My mate has a lisp he is getting all excited to watch Eurovision Thong Contest
  7. Berwick will try again to get their home Championship campaign started as they welcome Redcar Bears. The Bandits welcome Drew Kemp back as he guests for the injured Peter Kildemand, while Sam Hagon who was instrumental in helping Bandits reach the BSN Semi-Finals guests for the injured Reid Battye. Redcar depending on Jody Scott's fitness will hope to be at full strength. Can see this being a close one so go 49-41 to Berwick. Free Car Park will be busy with the Monks biker rally being held over the weekend.
  8. Does Drew come in on his current PL average or last seasons 2025 Championship average
  9. Nick guesting for Oxford tomorrow night
  10. . Yes it is cancelled and we have to find something else to do tonight but, we have ran meetings in worse forecasts than this. Clubs normally prepare the track to allow for the threat of poor weather, which we have seen happen in the past. Benefit today was no football so lot more hours available to work on the track and the could have put start time back to 7-30pm. Seen many a meeting on a wet track where after 3/4 heats track comes good. But decision is made so we just need to look forward to next Saturday.
  11. Then next week apparently we have the bikers festival thingy so they will be taking up a lot of the car park as well
  12. If Jye is doubtful i would get Lambert to guest
  13. Berwick fresh from reaching their 2nd semi-final of the season, welcome Scunthorpe as they get their league campaign underway. For the Bandits already with injury problems they use R/R for Peter Kildemand with Dayle Wood guesting for Reid Battye. Scunthorpe have 1 change with Dan Gilkes brought in to replace Simon Lambert, who in the past has ranked Berwick as one of his favourite away tracks. Scunthorpe will be hoping Pickering continues his current form to keep score respectable. Prediction- With bonus points important in reaching a playoff position can see a 56-34 home win.
  14. Hagon rode well on Saturday guesting for Berwick
