I too was neutral about him for a long while but his renaissance has been remarkable. His current achievements already make him an all-time great. To think that there is realistically more to come at his age is staggering.
I agree with that last point which is too often overlooked.

BTW, I've seen that pic of you at HB in 1960 and there wasn't a viable track in place then either. When was the last actual race meeting staged there?
At this rate, he'll not be able to be employed anywhere and will end up on benefits. Unless some do-gooder starts a new campaign to stop 'his sort' claiming them too. Where will it end?
