On Radio Freamantle this morning Rod Colquhoun mentioned the attendance for round one was about 5,500 and round two at Sydney between 7,500 - 8,500 people. Very impressive.

How was the crowd at Sydney Bryn? Is the series as a whole being received well down under thus far? Cheers mate!

I would say follow the signs to Park and Ride. The buses run really regularly into the city centre and its only a five minute journey. It's pretty cheap and well organised.

Last year i stayed in Santa Barbara on my gap year and remembering driving by St Marco's high school on my way to Goleta. Such a lovley part of the world and Goleta has the nicest university i have ever seen plus some crazy house parties at Isla Vista and a tasty Taco Bell! Sorry not really any help but i just fancied a rant!

Hey, you must have been near me then! The weekend was totally awesome, the passion from the Polish fans was amazing. Got to see Zielona Gora against Leszno yesterday, terrific racing, crowd of 9,000. According to the locals they usually get a whopping 15,000. The highlight was watching Lee Richardson fight through from the back. During the gp the Polish people were terrific, about 5 of them introduced themselves and shook my hand if a Brit won a race. Gollob is an absolute hero over there. Kristof Cegelski got a tremendous cheer when he rode round on his quad. Overall an amazing weekend i would reccomend to anyone!

Bydgoszcz is gonna be awesome. Never been to a GP abroad before and from what ive heard i could'nt have chose a better one to start with! Seems to be quite a few Brits making the journey! Anyone going on the Eurorider tour with Ron??

What was Crumpy actually moaning about?

Is it me or do some speedway fans just love to moan? Everyone has their faults and BSI are no different but what is the point of focusing on their negative aspects?? why not instead take a step back and look at the wider picture. 8,000 people at coventry in the year 2000 and 36,000 people in Cardiff last year. The series now enjoys healthy sponsorship good t.v coverage and large crowds, surely the good factors BSI bring to the sport outweigh the negative. If Speedway is going to progress at a faster rate it requires all the fans to stop MOANING and be positive. Maybe im the minority but i personally believe BSI are doing an awesome job and im more than happy the contract is in their hands for years to come.
