Just shows you can nearly win a meeting with two riders. Kent suffering big time with injuries and No 1 having a mare! Should there really be a big blue groove showing so early? Not impressed at all with track with a few heats riders spread out like washing.

Really sets up Monday very nicely.Colts have decent lead to defend and Kings capable of pulling back the lead.Looking forward to good meeting,as last nights sounded a cut above what Mr Cook says!!!!!

Sums it up very nicely.Was always going to be closer than earlier meeting with Gladiators....and it was,as Kings only pulled clear late on.

That is very disappointing if there was less paying customers on Monday than the Wimbledon fixture! It has always been a bugbear with me that attendances are never given......but it will never happen in Speedway!

On the Kent thread you said the Dons fixture was 500 odd? You just guessing?

Agree it did not look good with all the empty seats in the lower tier.....I have always thought this in all the action photos you see from meetings at Central Park!

Yes,on tonights South East news.I was in the pits last night and saw reporter talking to various people.

I was talking about when racing each other.Morley was ahead and Ablitt was right on his tail and another race Ablitt was ahead and Morley could not pass.

I was a bit out saying it was going to be a close meeting? Heres my take on last night.Kent started like a rocket and any doubts were soon gone as the Trophy was in the bag after 4 or 5 heats.Who would of thought it would take as long as Heat 9 for Wood or Morley to record a win! My observations on the Kent team.....Kemp is some prospect and what was noticeable was his style of riding...classy.Rowe also really impressive and again going places.Andrews decent guest and probably worth a bigger score.Ledwith looks a heat leader but maybe tired after his three wins? Clouting tried hard and did well.Young Ablitt (just 15???) What I noticed last night was he was as fast(even faster) than Morley who knows his way round Central Park....some prospect. And this is a weaker Kent team?

If Kent were at full strength it would be a near certainty.But with the missing riders and IOW strong top three there are a few doubts. Can see a close meeting (maybe a draw) and Kent lifting their first ever team Trophy after six years of trying. Looking forward to some close Speedway and incident free night.

It is a real shame that Kent could win their FIRST ever trophy with three of the team missing. I know injuries are part and parcel on Speedway,but it is still a pity a Guest could help win this!

Glad for you....to me they are just fill in fixtures because there are so few teams. And my point was taking away the NL Trophy Final just lessens more `Official` fixtures.IMHO

I cannot believe it.I checked table the other day to see if Kent did lose at Mildenhall they would still have a decent chance to get to FINAL!!!! Now it has changed with NO mention whatsoever???? How can you start season with same rules and suddenly change!!!!! Takes away two meaningful meetings for TWO teams. There is so few fixtures anyway which is why Kent are trying to fill with (let me say)less than meaningful fixtures.

When was that changed? A while back it said top two Final!!!!

It has gone a bit pear shaped for the Eagles.Never thought they would lose two Home meetings on the trot! Hope young Tom gets better as soon as possible.Not surprised crowd was down on recent meetings with the Grand Prix and FAC Final in competition.Really hope things pick up for Eastbourne and I hope to be down for the Sheffield meeting.

Well what a shock !!!!! A one man band....who has to control everything. Sad this is the case...probably why the Club has stood still since day one and still has track problems. IMHO

Do you tell Mr Silver the concerns about the track? As this sounds like an urgent matter.

Interesting post.I have always thought the track was a problem.....and asking youngsters to race on it is asking for problems.....AND DELAYS!!!!
