  1. Quite certain it is not the Speedway who imposed this rule
  2. One of the physical requirements for obtaining a Blue Badge is being unable to walk more than 80 meters without difficulty. Clearly the distance holders now required to walk is considerably more and as such the new edict is a flagrant disregard of the principle of Blue Badges.
  3. Even if this was provided Chaos would ensue at the end of the meeting. The really stupid thing about this is that parking for the entire crowd could be accommodated within the showground and still leave more than sufficient unrestricted access to carry out a NATO exercise
  4. You are quite right, however bearing in mind the way it was discovered it is doubtful
  5. This is one of the many reasons for the crass stupidity of the edict
  6. There is !!!!!.. Inside the Showground where Blue Badge holders have always parked.
  7. Just seen a flight of pigs flying past my window
  8. You are right that many can and do walk short distances. The problem with EOES is that it is not a short distance. The distance at the showground is well above the limits required to get a Blue Badge. These days you are assessed every year to confirm that you still comply.
  9. The tales we are hearing shows the crass stupidity and insensitivity of showground management and it would seem how little Speedway management have done to help Blue Badge holders. To anybody with half a brain it is obvious that for Blue Badge holders it is not the parking space but the distance between turnstiles and track that is the problem.
  10. Pretty sure this comes from the showground and not the Speedway.
  11. Banned from parking within the stadium. Complete denial of reasons there are such things as Blue Badges
  12. Massive kick in the teeth for Blue Badge holders by EOES.
  13. Increasingly difficult to absorb news overload from bosses , re team, admission and season tickets. Difficult to decide which of the many options to go for. Certainly believe in keeping customers in the loop at every opportunity
  14. Been on official site for a few days. Packed with information other than team and prices.
  15. You have to admire Adam Roynon loads of guts and from what I know a totally nice bloke. Should retire gracefully , injuries prevented him achieving his potential. Thankfully he is still in one piece
  16. The "right ruddy hames" regarding the team for this year makes one wonder whether the bosses know or care what effect this has on fans ( customers) This however seems to be Busters default position "my way or no way"
  17. Hans is not the rider he was and probably will never be again. But on his current average it would be madness not to sign him.
  18. Without a number 1 Panthers likely to struggle as they did last season
  19. Glad Hans is back but getting increasingly tired of these silly games.
  20. As always Panthers bosses anxious to keep fans up to speed every step of the way
  21. Geography has been a problem to some for a number of years. I was at a football match some time ago when a joker on the terraces cried out "oi ref get back to Wales" when this comment invoked much laughter he indignantly responded "whats the matter he comes from Slough doesn't he"
