Peterborough v Wolves 17.9.19
wealdstone replied to Call me wolfie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Never said there would be no Speedway. Info (now slightly modified) came from comments on a site now closed down. Related to the level at which Panthers would be racing -
If that is your understanding as to how percentages work probably it does not matter in the scheme of things
-
I get your general point but your understanding of percentages are way off
-
We are talking about Colin

As I have said hopefully the cessation of the Rigsby site is only temporary. Very sad as it had superceeded the official site and effectively there is now no fans forum. Although unused the official site is still operational and can be used until Rigsby has a change of heart.

I am glad to hear that Mick. Many had feared the money supplemented the Horton Gold and Dollar reserves.

You don't have to speak to 100 to get 99% .24.75 is 99% of 25. To be clear I have no idea how many were spoken to but you do not need to speak to 100 to get a percentage of 99%.

I can't help feeling that if Mr Chapman has lost a lot of money over his ownership of Panthers he is very much the author of his own misfortune. Unfortunately others may be the ultimate victims
-
I do not think that Maneacat ever claimed to have spoken to 100 people

Peterborough v Wolves 17.9.19

To clarify I do not suggest there will be no Speedway at Peterborough next year but that it may not be at a level to suit all. Some if true will inevitably walk away from Panthers and some are fed up with Speedway full stop. Some notable absentees tonight ,although nice to see Neil Watson and the Rathbones I see wording on Rigsby site now re phrased -

Not funny , not funny at all!, not even mildly amusing -

If the suggestions made on the now defunct ( hope temporary) Rigsby site are true I suspect tonight will be the last time many will see Speedway at EOES. For some it is possible it is the last time they will see live Speedway of any description. -
Simple answer is yes.

Nobody can as yet be bothered to start a thread on tomorrows meeting v Wolves , and neither can I. However Mr Johnson says he hopes the fans will go away happy. The only way we will go away happy is an assurance that Panthers will run next season and in the Top Flight whatever that may be.
-
Many would agree , but as others rightly point out the team you presented had in many cases not signed contracts. I would like to know why this was so, and what changed so fundamentally since our conversation at supporters quiz pre season.

Big decisions in November.

Unfortunately the mafia for several years have always worked on the dumbing down principal. I appreciate that in most cases it was a case of sheer economics but on the other hand they have used abused and ultimately forced out anybody who could afford a short term loss for a long term gain. -

I have heard that Buster is thinking of another purchase and that subject to money Somerset considering a return. Premier League hoped to be 10/12 sides. -

Nice to see on watching replay on TV that Kevin Austin was in the pits. Clearly as sponsor of Ulrich and presumably still persona non gratta along with others as far as Panthers bosses are concerned -
Despite the belief that Spurs are a Jewish club . they are no more Jewish than Arsenal or Chelsea.

Stupid post
-
there is , no and don't know
-
Not sure this is actually true as Ged after many changes of heart had said that he would run Panthers in Premier League.

The air fence, although I a,m not sure the wooden fence is not the property of the Speedway also as arguably there would be no need for it otherwise. Don't forget Speedway has been there for 50 plus years
-
Although not owned by them, the safety fence was almost entirely provided by the supporters club.
