His latest statement gives no assurance things are going ahead only that riders contracts have not been cancelled. That was never the claim anyway.

What people are expressing is a deep suspicion of all things Horton. In his defence however there must be some degree of trust in him from the riders he has signed and from Jim Lynch who I believe he fell out with big time during his first Peterborough coming

What Horton has said is that riders have not been released. Subtlety different from the claim that riders should look for other clubs if they wished.

IMO the statement says nothing other than to leave fans dangling again.

There is simply no excuse for either the Supremo or the BSPA to continue to keep fans in the dark. Even if they were under some legal restrictions there is no reason that they should not say something.

Speedway should be declared a Horton free zone.

It seems to me the total lack of ambition or more likely the acceptance of mediocrity is to blame. Regarding the lack of speedway or indeed ice hockey in London is due to small crowds and lack of available venues.

The reaction of those in charge has never been to look how the product can be improved rather they dilute the product and charge more. The reaction to anybody who thought different and had the money and the will to use it has been resentment and to drive them out of the sport.

It is difficult to see how much lower Speedway in this country can get. BSPA no doubt however have plans to ensure its complete demise.
