  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Come on the Danes You wouldn't consider making me a Danish T-Shirt by TJS productions would ya
  2. Oh dear...I see it's spread to here now
  3. I have two tickets available for the GP on Sat, situated in Block L25 (third bend, lower tier) row 26, seats 15 and 16, for the very reasonable price of £35 the pair. Anyone interested, give me a shout on here to arrange things
  4. Blimey lighten up Leg Trailer, it was a tongue in cheek comment, no offence intended. Ok his hand was allegedly trapped in the front wheel, but he made no effort to move whatsover, as you say to let his wife/family know he was OK. I for one sat at home thinking he was unconcious as he was so still on track. Was good to see him walk away and obviously in no pain at all hence his further involvement in the meeting.
  5. Oh, you are, are you?? Well in that case don't forget to bring the beer, oh, and the choccie peanuts of course
  6. Here here Garf. My thoughts exactly. I suppose if it had of been Mark Loram or Scott Nicholls empyting the contents of their nasal cavity in front of the camera this would have been deemed OK Oh sorry forgot, Scott didn't ride last night did he Well done Mr Adams on taking the win, and also to Jesper B on his achievement
  7. absolutely disgusted with the ref tonight... TR lucky to get a re-run earlier, but in semi final 2 he had Gollob down into 2nd bend with all 4 back!!!!!!!! bad bad mistake
  8. Were you a Wembley 81? Lee was booed on parade - a British reigning world champion booed - and why because he took the urine out of speedway so they 82, 000 took the urine out of him. I was there, I remember booing him too, but for other reasons...... well I was only 15 at the time As Trees said earlier, (he was a hero of mine too) nothing will take away the memories of him racing when he was at King's Lynn......we all make mistakes in life, unfortunately some of us more than others
  9. Congratulations to Trevor Harding for finishing second to Steve Johnston
  10. World Champion 2003 - what more can I say. Well done Nicki P
  11. Why not 2003 Champion? :? Aww bless guess the excitement just got too much
  12. This one is a crippler :-( Watching Crumpy in 2000 and 2001 at King's Lynn was awesome, the guy is a speedway god and I was gutted to see him move on. In came Nicki P and IMO was just as awesome and exciting as JC and both guys were excellent with the fans etc. Deep down I will have to go with Crumpy as I think he deserves the title, the guy has worked his b******s off and you can see how desperate he wants this. Either way whoever takes the title I will be happy, it's been the best GP series (dodgy tracks aside) and I for one am counting down the days to Hamar
  13. Let's do that, it would make a nice change Unfortunately it seems that some people cant leave that subject alone  IMO it was rather bad of Sky to actually say what they said about Nicki fencing his grandmother etc...........but then that's just my opinion and it probably won't account for much on this forum seeing as though I dont have any problems with Nicki
  14. I'll have to second that, Tomas you were brilliant mate, you did us all proud Let's just hope the Czech speedway authority feel totally ashamed of themselves for not giving the 2003 Czech champion the credit he so fully deserved  Oh and btw, the Kings Lynn kevlars looked well cool ;-) Do we really have to start on Nicki Pedersen again, can't we just be grateful for a really entertaining GP for once
  15. All worth waiting for IMO, well done to Ryan for livening things up Pity Leigh couldn't have held off the Brit
  16. Well now that it looks like the gp is being shown tomorrow night at 10.30pm on Sky Sports Extra, are there any nice people out there who can help with my original question please
  17. A mate of mine is on holiday in IOW (Sandown) at the moment and needs to know if there are any pubs etc that might show the highlights of the GP (if SKY can be bothered  ). Any info would be much appreciated
  18. And there's me thinking you were a woman of great taste Trees Go on the Aussie's
  19. Now that has to be the funniest thing I have heard in a long long time
  20. IMO Jason Crump is a speedway rider with fantastic talent. Having had the pleasure of watching him ride at King's Lynn for two seasons I can vouch for that. He's obviously having a rough GP run at the moment, we all know when things go wrong they bloody well go wrong. I don't want to open a can of worms but Jason is obviously a total professional and he expects things to be right every time, and shoving a camera in his face every time things don't go right isn't helping him. I know it's done for media coverage and entertainment value and he isn't the only one who the camera seems to follow. Unfortunately it is part of the package of being one of the best at what you do. Hopefully this is one of the issues that is being addressed by the sports psychologist Jason is seeing at the moment.
  21. What more do you expect from a complete bunch of d**kheads
  22. Fantastic day, topped off with an excellent performance by Nicki Pedersen. Well done NP, I wonder if you have stopped smiling yet Congrats to Crumpy too who seemed more than happy with his second place IMO not a bad days work ending up with three ex-King's Lynn riders on the rostrum Knackered now, just got in, I need sleep :?
