Very happy to see the Danes on the podium even if it was only to collect the bronze . Maybe the British team left their inspiration back on the riverbank with Floppy and Havvy.

Why should there always be this debate about being patriotic or being hypocritical over who you should or shouldn't support? I was asked on another thread a couple of days ago why I support the Danish team.... why should I have to explain to anyone MY personal choices? We all have riders we like or like watching we also have riders we dislike and dislike watching. Some just take it too personally when others choose not to support their 'home' team. We all love our speedway, so let's just wait for Saturday night to come and may the best team win. Just to point out that I'm not an ogre and detest all things British. I hope the Pommies bash the Aussies in the current Ashes Test series.

If I remember rightly, a few years back a Polish ref in the final excluded a Polish rider (Jacek someone) in the very last heat to give the Cup to the Aussie's . Not sure if it was tonight's ref or the other one they mentioned earlier tonight. Oh, almost forgot, terrible decision by ref tonight regarding Mr Rickardsson, he should have been 'thrown out of the race' as Nigel Pearson so eloquently put it Sunday night.

Firstly, the name's Shooting Star, and secondly, not that I have to explain this to anyone, but as you asked the question, I wish the Danish team to do well as there isn't one of their riders I dislike watching ride, they have balls, they are exciting to watch and I am a big fan of their captain you know . I won't go into my reasons for not supporting the Brits because you didn't ask that question. Oh, and I almost forgot, I have a second cousin that lives in Denmark.

As much as I admire the blokes racing ability, I'm afraid when push comes to shove Leigh Adams just hasn't got the balls to 'get down and dirty', especially in the GP series.
