  1. A fantastic win for Mildenhall with 3 riders on tip top form (Jacobs,Blackbird & Baseby). But having said this as a spectacle it was very poor and completely one sided. Hackney seemed to have very little stomach for the action and tailed off at the back many a time. Barrie Evans at no1 and an ex-Mildenhall rider expert was awful and only produced one ride of note and that was when jumping the gate and should have been a re-run. Nice to see young Cameron Heeps do a few laps he reminds me of another Taylor Poole. My guess next season we will see Blackbird and Heeps at reserve for the Witches especially as their Witches assets
  2. Interesting post this 'FenTiger666' are you saying all Mildenhall riders not on loan are assets of Ipswich? What do you base this on have you actual proof of this or is it guess work? Its not that I dont believe what you say but just like to know the correct facts
  3. Oh dear you think you are so clever Cameron Heeps is 16 on the 27th October 2011 and so can end the season at no6 for the Witches - CORRECT So 'Needles' HE CAN
  4. Great post "fentigers79" what you state is so so correct, lets hope all make Cameron Heeps very welcome and he ends the season at no6 for the Witches
  5. Fantastic news Cameron Heeps is a fabulous prospect and cant wait to see him ride if not this week, soon Hopefully after settling down he will be trying the foxhall track out and replacing poser Hart very soon if allowed to
  6. My god your team are having some wretched luck and I feel very sorry for you all and the poor riders. Best of luck to them and I hope you get suitable replacements
  7. Great to see Joe Jacobs bounce back to top form and Lewis Blackbird is something special with his exciting style of riding. Just like to wish John Resch all the best and for a speedy recovery.
  8. Cant help thinking 'Badge' he is not going to ride for Mildenhall this season. A great shame but who knows he could for the Witches next season when 16 years old and can get a work permit easier.
  9. Well I hope Bob does a good job on the track today as I was at the bangers last night and the track was decimated by the cars, infact it looked awful with pieces of rusty old cars everywhere. Good luck to all the riders and lets hope for a great safe meeting
  10. This is all so confusing about Cameron Heeps, you read this you read that and nothing is clear. My angle on this is, he is only 15 years old and still classed as a child, so there are huge problems regarding his visa. My guess is he will not ride for Mildenhall this season or anyone else in the UK. Conjecture that he will take Harts place at reserve for the Witches is a wonderful idea and I for one would applaud that greatly. But I fear this will not happen as riders in the premier league need to be 16 years old
  11. Very sad I cant make this meeting as I expect it to be another cracking close meeting like all at West Row so far. But good luck to all the riders and stay safe
  12. Totally agree but cant see that ever happening, some people think the only sport is football kicking that bag of wind about by a load of prima donnas yuk
  13. Another very good meeting although the track was very poor early on due to stock car racing the evening before. In Hargreaves and Brundle Mildenhall have 2 very accomplished riders and I wonder to myself if one of these could and would take the all wheelie and chats place at No6 of Hart? Cant help feeling his time has run out and us Witches fans are fed up with his all talk and no action.
  14. Well its now 13.15pm and the weather is bright and sunny So get along to West Row and treat yourselves to a great meeting on a fantastic track and the best fish "n" chips ever
  15. Really looking forward to this meeting, its so great Mildenhall are back on track with a fantastic promoting team. Shame Heeps is not here yet but never mind Im sure he will aventually arrive and provide some real excitement. Cant wait to get some more of the very tasty fish n" chips at the stadium, it must be the best £5 ever spent
  16. WOW!!! what a superb superb meeting. Brilliant track made for brilliant speedway, billiantly organised, large crowd and 2 good teams. Add to that brilliant fish and chips and a chat to Taylor Poole and Danny King, all made for a brilliant occasion. Well done those 3 promoters for bringing brilliant speedway back to Mildenhall IN FACT ALL BRILLIANT
  17. Well the GREAT day has arrived with the resurrection of the Mildenhall Tigers Its a lovely day so should be no problems in that direction. I think we are all in for some exciting times ahead under the guidence of Louis,Lee & Jolly Mildenhall fans deserve some success and when Heeps arrives from Oz I think it might well occur lets all hope so anyway. Well very good luck to all concerned in this new venture and hope ALL the riders stay safe and un-injured
  18. Its a shame that Cameron will not be riding Sunday but Im sure the other young lads will give their all along with the 2 more experienced riders This will be a great occasion and season, for all us Mildenhall fans with these 3 promoters Its long long overdue that Mildenhall had this quality at the top
  19. Yes cant wait for this meeting and the reborn Tigers It will be a big disappointment if Cameron Heeps does not take his place But never mind Im sure the threesome will come up with a good young rider to take his place Ive been watching young Reece Loram in practice at Ipswich and suggest he could win the No 2 spot in the team. He is just like his dad Mark, full throttle and 150% effort Anyway good luck to all the 14 riders and stay clear of injuries if you can
  20. Could not agree more well put I well remember Roberts riding days and the great atmosphere there was at west row The coming season will be one to be remembered also I hope and the old atmosphere will be back with an exciting team
  21. I agree with some of what you say but everyone has their own opinions. Its not as you say "rantings" but just comments on whats happening at Mildenhall without a vested interest. My opinion is, these could be great times for Mildenhall after several years of under achieving with a great new management team. If this mean changes so be it but obviously not all are going to be happy with them especially if their not part of the new set-up. So very good luck to the 7 riders selected to ride and Im sure the fans are in for some exciting times ahead.
  22. Im sorry if Ive offended you Ollies dad but Im speaking as a Mildenhall speedway fan and not as a father. My opinion is based on exactly what Ive witnessed on the track and in my opinion Ollie is a nice lad with an awkward style. The 2 riders brought in (in my humble opinion) are better and more likely to make the progress needed to step up. Obviously you wont agree but would not have expected anything else from his dad
  23. I think the move by the Mildenhall promoters to off load Oliver Rayson, is a very good move. He will never make the grade above a national league reserve/2nd string, as he has a very awkward style that will hold him back Whereas Halsey and Blackbird are a different kettle of fish and might well progress into the Witches side sometime in the future So good luck to the 2 new lads and welcome aboard the happy ship that is Mildenhall Fen Tigers
