  1. that is a shame Dave, but at least the rest of the crew can have a lie-in, 'every cloud' n al that
  2. good question,,, not sure exactly how they do the averages, but me thinks, Lewis on about 5.65 and Victor 5.45 atm, but we still have matches to come,,,
  3. a don't think r/r would be a bad result, with everyone bar Lambert able to take a ride,,,
  4. Peterboro, apart fro Cook didn't offer much, but with probly 4 lads that have never seen Brough (and Ashley Morris) what else would be expected ???,,, big 'off night' for Lambert, but when 5 others score like that we do ok I think Worrall had the beating of Cook, before he stopped (or dummy fell out) in ht 15, a dunno,,, but Cook is still sh!t hot round Newcastle, wether you like him or not,,,
  5. is that the guy who played Moses in 'the prince of egypt' ???
  6. Dunno if Rose is that much cop at Redcar, can't remember any decent scores
  7. a piss up in a brewery is probly quite hard to organise, cos everyone is at work,,,, a proper piss up is when everyone is off !!!
  8. according to Ludvigs twitter, he's done with Masarna this season,,, so does he have another team in the homeland ???
  9. there might not be many that 'might' fit the bill, but atm, he isn't/doesn't,,,
  10. Very much like I expected, shame Garrity wasn't riding,,, some good riding from Bates and Howarth kept it entertaining, after a poor start Howarth done well,,, if he were ever to ride Newcastle regularly, I think he would he would crack it Newcastle top 6 solid again, apart from Matty's poor first ride and fall, we need a few points on the road to cement our playoff place, then over 2 legs, we will be in with a shout,,,
  11. Would expect it to be pretty close, with Bates and Garrity back. Howarth is capable of doing ok, jury's out on Stead,,, and the other 3, well,,, can't see them doing much, apart from having the beating of Phillips
  12. maybe because we've decided to leave the euro zone and, there's something in the pipeline,,,, I have seen some 'old planes' flying around lately, maybe there just warming them up ???,,, hmmm
  13. a don't think Rob can do the PL draft thing, so would be unable to replace Danny,,, but as a guest for Lewis Rose (if we ever need one), ad surely be contacting him, I said earlier that he often does ok here, and he did,,, dunno how he hasn't got a PL club tho, but maybe there's more to it,,,
  14. not if it was a yard the other, like on the grass and on the Lambert vibe,,, I certainly wouldn't be likening Lambert and Garritty, 'chalk and cheese' is more like it, both great talents but totally different persona's IMO
  15. I assumed that Vic musta heen having some mechanical issue's,,, that bit about Kus all sounds familiar,,,
  16. Branford can sometimes be ok at Brough and, by all reports am sure he'll do more than Karger would/might ov
  17. Dunno why Palavaara was dropped in heat 8, but am sure there would be a reason not to leave him in,,, Kus, imo has actually been ok at home and even managed a genuine pass last week, albeit against Redcar,,, but his away form has not been great,,, Not sure how many times you've seen Lambert and after 2 visits to Derwent Park he has not been 'dialled in',,, maybe the place is one of his bogies, but he is good, all round prospect.
  18. ACC obviously a poor result tonight, and I echo what you say regarding Kus, thought we bought him for his away performances which haven't been the best ,,, but, still over 2 legs I would still back Newcastle, especially on home form and, thats the way to win the league these days (imo),,, its only Somerset that I would be wary about over 2 legs as they haven't raced here yet and seem to be tearing everyone else apart and I hope it wasn't a fluke that we got a point down there,,, Oh !!!,,, and there's the 'cut off' date and hope we manage to make up some ground before it,,,
  19. Should be an easy win over a crappy Rockets side even tho they nearly won at Edinburgh, but so did we,,,
