he does it all the time. last year before the eastbourne meeting he put in the star that basically we'd be nothing without danny spiller's double figures, guess who won that one. i know a lot of people think he's good for the sport but sometimes his own riders must feel like gagging him and taking him up the moors.

you can blame (thank) craig cook at poole for that one. he bombed it across the infield and almost hit an ambulance person. the rule is now that if the rider is on track heading to the start so long as they don't then stop for a practise start etc, they won't be excluded even if they are not at the tapes. so laugh on if it makes you happy but it's a far better rule imo.

sounds like i missed the best home meeting of the season by far , but really pleased to see the result and read the posts , well done everyone involved.

i don't think birmingham have anything nailed on, not with the way the kings are riding, but i agree eastbourne aren't strong enough to stop them.

that must have been hard to watch for the home fans, battered by a 4 man team. i know the colts will be up there with the brummies and the kings but their other 3 riders only averaged a point each, good job stoke strengthened . blimey, talk about taking your frustrations out on someone. hope a few stoke fans kept the faith and travelled to witness what they've just done to buxton.

georgie's no-show will tip this belle vue's way now for sure, pity i thought this was going to be a close one.

any predictions anyone ? the sun is out for a few days so we're making the trip up for the first time this year, so if it rains you'll all know who to pay to stay away. between injuries and the weather both sides have had faltering starts so feels like the start of the season again. haven't got a clue what the score will be but hoping for an eagles win of course. sunny eastbourne here we come.

4 or 5 hrs of showers,light rain or heavy rain from 11 till 3 doesn't sound good. wish i knew what the track is like now so will it take any more rain if it does come or will it be off with the first shower. i have to decide by 11 if we're taking a chance but after a wasted trip tp eastbourne and mildenhall last year and already knotching up manchester it's unlikely..

was going to make the trip but there's a lot of showers forecast on top of whatever rain/sleet/snow they have had so will decide tomorrow morning , loved it there last season but spiller's crash was a shocker. hopefully everyone will stay safe this time. i think ben will be on fire even though he doesn't seem to be holding any grudge.

maybe at the start of the season that was true but i don't think there is much between them and kent now . the brummies v kings meetings look like they'll be worthy of tv coverage but of course that's pie in the sky (pun intended)
