kent waiting to sort out possible change of race night i think , kent will go up next year i believe.
-
very pleasing news , even though we won't be racing against you .
-
please god no , my misses would make me drive to arlington every week as she absolutely loves lewy.
-
thing is skidder , because of the squads contracted doesn't mean a lot . riders have gone all season and had one or two rides even none in some cases so it might not be too much of a risk . however i don't know if he would be expected to be there if he was riding or not as that would nail it. i'd like to see adam ellis and ellis perks back.

i wasn't there , but was told bwd was at a meeting some time the following season picking the 50/50 ticket so doubt there's any bad feeling now.

does your family and friends see much of you ?

rider of the year - DREW KEMP ( can't think of anything that hasn't already been said about this racer) most impressive team - MILDENHALL ( coped with injuries well until the last month of the season ) team rider of the season - MARK BASEBY ( for this and last season) one to watch - JORDAN PALIN ( all teams will be after him next year ) meeting of the season - COVENTRY V EASTBOURNE PLAY/OFF SEMI 2ND LEG ( really enjoyed this one ) surprise of the season - MILDENHALL NOT WINNING THE TREBLE ( couldn't see anyone touching them , injuries apart ) underperformers team - PLYMOUTH ( season imploded when other contenders stepped up a gear ) unluckiest rider - DANNY AYRES ( he's my pick but run close by way too many others ) newcomer of the year - LEON FLINT ( most tipped leon to be 'best of the rest' behind kemp & jenkins , leon thought differently )

Mildenhall V Eastbourne NLPO Final 2ng leg 25-10-18@7-30pm

for me there's only one question anyone need to be asking themselves , and that's eastbourne , mildenhall or any neutral fans . if the 1st leg had been rained off so thurs' meeting had then become the 1st leg would it have still been the 'matt marson southern developement select all stars' heading to arlington on friday if they were 2 up going into the 2nd leg , i assume the rest of the teams 'work commitments' would have been the same ? -

was it a big crowd or was it just that everybody who was there was starving ? -
Eastbourne v Mildenhall 21/10/18 Play Off Final
gee jay replied to cityrebel's topic in National League Speedway
can't disagree with you that he hasn't pushed on this year , but no real progress since he first rode is very harsh. as for the last few meetings i think he's injured his back possibly at mildenhall and fell in each of the next 2 meetings which couldn't have helped . -
of course buxton could have said 'sod it' and packed up half way through the season leaving the rest of the league in the lurch , now that wouldn't look very professional at all would it .

i see a few others on here thinking the eagles are still up against it , i was beginning to feel a bit on my own . 19 seems a big lead everywhere but west row , i was hoping for 25. i wondered with danny just failing a fitness test would the 3 extra days make a difference to him being back , same with sam who still wasn't 100% right . won't be there so just wish both sides the best of luck , no more injuries , and if the eagles win i'll be doing a little dance but i will feel for the fen tigers . if they do claw it back it will just add to the story and i will doff my cap to the best side i think i've ever seen in the 3rd tier . -
know how you feel , between the weather and car trouble we haven't seen any live speedway since the double header on 15th sept . now it looks like the only one we can now make is covester on sat , and that's only if the car is finally sorted out on weds , gutted.

lots of ' ifs & buts' until the agm but one thing for me is the trophy. i think the previous year there were only 3 teams in the south and 4 in the north section but having no semis this year meant that the south section was practically decided after a 4 day spell with mildenhall's wins over i.o.w. and plymouth away and then kent at home . i've never heard and read the terms 'dead rubber' , 'meaningless fixture ' and 'nothing meeting' so many times in any sport ever as i did this year. there's got to be semis for me.

thompson twins will be in a leicester side if there is any sort of n.l. next year.
