  1. Complaining of pain in his leg. Corners looks like an ice rink. 4pm in Swindon & i was ok, misty rain came in around 7pm
  2. Nasty crash in heat 1, slippery into the bends & Nick comes down, MPT & Vaculik had nowhere to go. Very murky & wet. Vaculik with a splint attached to his leg, off to Hospital I would say. Meeting won’t go ahead now I wouldn’t imagine.
  3. That would never happen to Poole. Everyone wants to ride for them.
  4. Torun still exteremly concerned that Holder hasn’t got his visa yet.
  5. 2hrs from Poland, have been many times from the various Airports. Glad he had booked a late flight so he didn't waste his time flying back to the UK.
  6. Interesting to note that Brady is still in Poland, now racing for Leszno. Surely he would have been on an early flight back today.
  7. Have you ever been to the Oaktree? Completely understand why the meeting has been called off, the fields will be flooded massively. If Somerset had the rain we had in Swindon overnight (I believe it came up through the south west) then I would imagine that the fields are set fair for ducks.
  8. You can read the article on sport fakty zuzel, only confirming what was said on there. I don’t think you need a UK racing liecence for P&P as it’s only practice, I believe a few Danes were at Poole’s practicing. Again, I could be wrong so if so hold my hands up.
  9. Kildemand didn’t want to do a full season otherwise I’m sure we would have used him.
  10. This was what was quoted on the polish website by Torun, they’re monitoring the isssues very closely as he’s a key member for them.
  11. As far as I’m aware you can’t have R/R for a rider who has not ridden a match. He is a double up rider so this may allow some scope
  12. I believe that his visa has run out, he can ride in Poland without one but if he leaves the UK will not allowed back in, he would have to fly home to Australia & apply for a brand new visa. Doesn’t leave the UK he can apply whilst still in the country. It’s an oversight from him not to have this sorted.
  13. But that was 20 years ago, my question is about the present? We should be going forward, not backwards IMO
  14. This was the tweet, it won’t let me upload the pic: Forecast improving for Poole's anniversary meeting, which is good because if it's rained off it won't be rearranged
  15. Can I ask a question, do you think Poole look like a team with the bibs?
  16. I’m sure I saw Ned Payne say if it’s off tonight it won’t be rerun
  17. It’s nowt to do with hating Poole or the “anti Poole brigade” as you call it. It’s about making the sport look professional. Wearing racesuits is a step in that direction as Poole riders are in a “team”. I’ll say the same to Somerset as well. If teams in the championship & NL can why can’t teams in two top flight? Imagine how it’s going to look on TV. I think that’s the main issues most fans have.
  18. I've noticed two more Championship sides with team suits which look smart - As my mate said ''Poole look like they've got dressed in the speedway lost property cupboard''.... Couldn't sum it up better myself!!!
  19. Swindon have one. Just left the meeting tonight, we did have one last season as well
  20. It’s been postponed until Sunday now however I read that Torun are concerned by his visa & personal issues mentioned. Hopefully he gets it/himself sorted
  21. Good to get a few meeting under the belt before the league campaign starts, have to say Davey looks like he’ll go ok, if we can score like at home most meetings we’ll be fine.
  22. Do you know if he's riding the pairs meeting in Poland Saturday or has he pulled out of this? I've just checked Sportfakty Poland & all it say's is that Holder has visa issues which is delaying his start although the translation isn't the best.
