And Ellis can take a ride if needs be. -
My thoughts exactly.
-
Other promoters or just the management committee?!
-
I'm not a Poole fan. I think it's wrong that the riders were only told today & therefore prevented for signing elsewhere. That IMO is wrong & comes across petty. I wonder what would have happened if the riders walked out a day after the window closed. As I've said, shows how it's time for an independent body to run the sport & not allows owners/promoters to do what they want, when they want.
-
Couldn't agree more.
-
They both missed a race tho? Whether Holder or Batch were right to do what they did can be argued until the cows comes home. Are KL right to not inform them prior to 28th they were being released....of course they're not. That's as unprofessional as it gets I'm afraid....the chairman of the bspa as well. Shocking behaviour IMO I hate bashing British speedway but sometimes it fails itself.
-
Am I not right in thinking that Lambert, Hukenbeck also refused to ride. Surely Holder & Batch are riders of experience so their opinions on whether the track was/is dangerous should be listened too?!
-
It's a joke, time for an independent body to come in & run it properly. We keep making mistake after mistake & making it look so unprofessional. How can you sack/release a rider Friday but only tell them on Monday after the dead-line, shambolic!
-
Wowzers......British Speedway really does know how to kick itself in the teeth. The time is now for an independent body to take control as this last week has been madness.

Apparently a Hancock engine

He was on Chris's bikes I believe. Same with the U21 meeting the previous Sunday. Well it was Chris's frames/covers, may have been an engine from Jack.

How many indentities does this one individual have......Gater1, Speedway Fanatic, Poole Bolton, KKS....Christ alive
-
Ask the bspa.....
-
Poole have well & truly messed this up.....KK at reserve for Rye
-
I'm sure there is an exemption for injuries after the dead-line.
-
Clegg is who I'd bring in. 3 average & should do a job as the 2nd reserve. Ayres rides for Redcar now, Sargeant crashed last night & on his previous appearance at the abbey looked shot to pieces. Zach has done a brilliant job that he'll be difficult to replace.
-
Zach is out for the season, absolutely gutted for the lad.
-
Every side in the league has, Swindon have 6 riders from the original 7. Only BV have done the same.
-
Gutted for Zach, spleen injury which requires an operation. Out for a while now.

To answer the above post. Whilst I agree that the racing wasn't great tonight you can only beat what's put infront of you & we did that at a canter. I was really surprised by how poor Poole were in those opening heats....well Opening 8 heats. Goes to show how Swindon were right to have a massive number 1, leads from the front & gives the team confidence. We are the form side with more home matches than away, I can't see us dropping many, if any points at home now. We have only been away once without picking a point up. We are now a better side. Yes you don't win a league in July but you can certainly make a massive statement. Roll on the next week....KL away, Leicester at Home & the Rye Away, hopefully a bucket load of points -

Do you write for either local rag & I'm sure both summed it up the same....a few people on here have many identities so you never know... -

You did & when I questioned it & called you crazy you then said it was a numbers game. Saying that I don't think there's been a rider you've not named today who should sign for Poole so perhaps I'm the crazy one for even getting involved THJ & Gonolski for Holder & Strake -
Not on a wind up but has Matt Ford been able to pull a rabbit from the hat? Any reaction after tonight's meeting from your local rag?
