  1. We have one of those at Swindon & the riders can clearly see it.
  2. I have to say he looked good on the bike, out gated a few of the bigger name riders but was roughed up in the first bend. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he was used against Poole. I think our track suited him as it's similar to Berwick in long straights & tight corners,
  3. Rosco made a very valid point tonight, he said since the 2nd white line has been added & the riders have to have their front wheel on this it allows for movement (rightly or wrongly), we're the only league with this, get rid & have the riders at the tapes & not behind them as they currently are
  4. Does a tape exclusion not count? First ride - DQ for two tape violations Second ride - 2 points Third rider - Fell
  5. I'm so disappointed with our season son. Wish all seasons were as bad as this
  6. From memory I think it's 10pm. They will rush through the heats now. Hopefully no more dramas
  7. Restart for heat 4 anticipated to be 9.15, Ambulance on its way back but the A419 is shut which is the main route from the hospital to the Abbey, having to go through the back roads. It's cold as well!!
  8. It was nasty as Smith had nowhere to go & went over Brad's bike on the floor. First they said a finger injury & if a compound fracture that isn't nice as done it myself. No wonder why he's poorly. Not a pretty sight if true
  9. Brad saying on the mic that he's hurt his wrist in the fall, will battle on tonight like the trooper he is. Hoping it doesn't swell up overnight
  10. ****Spoiler alert**** Brad saying his wrist isn't great after a first bend fall tonight at Swindon. Will battle on. All joking aside it was a nasty crash as Jack Smith is off to hospital, Brad saying his wrist isn't great & hopes it doesnt swell up. Went onto to say that there was no way he could have ridden Monday with his wrist & the bumpy track (his words not mine).
  11. Looked nasty. Brad & Etheridge clashed so it looked, bought down Brad & Smith rode over his bike Now waiting for a county ambulance as Jack Smith now unwell in the pits, assume concussion
  12. That they did. More to the story than meets the eye but that's not for here. I know a sponsor from that time.
  13. TEAM NEWS | Due to unforeseen circumstances, Craig Cook misses tonight match at Swindon. R/R for the Aces at No.5 #AcesPride
  14. Swindon have quite a few sponsors this season (For example 10 paid a min 5k at the start of the season to try & be the main sponsor - £50K in the back pocket before a wheel was turned) due to Lee Kilby's hard work. They have since gained more throughout the town. The club has improve it's commercial activities massively.
  15. Concessions - £5, Under 11's free. Why are people moaning about this, If the club can afford it which clearly they can otherwise they wouldn't offer it, what's the issue.
  16. I'm over Kembrey Park & it hammered it down for about 10mins, bright & sunny now though.
  17. Had the forecast been decent then more would have travelled as previous explained to yourself. Leaving at 5pm as you suggested would never work either, wouldn't have got down to Poole by the start time. I hope the Poole massive do travel up & back up everything you say, £10 entry should certainly help. The £7 per person saving can go towards the petrol costs - all in all a great gestured by Swindon when they don't have to reduce admission. Could take the money & run.
  18. TV meeting's are encourage to be reduced admission, I think was in the terms of the deal but maybe wrong, £10 entry. Swindon charged £5 against KL as a experiment to see what crowd turned up. It worked as many fans who hadn't been for years or before came back the following few meetings. The play off match is very good value & should encourage more through the door although a play off semi should be enough anyway.
  19. They didn't have to do this so fair play to the club for the pricing structure.
