  1. Much better coverage by Eurosport than sky, well done. Scott Nicholls & Sophie Nicholls Blake were a refreshing change and did a brilliant job. Respect to all the riders for riding on the track and giving their all. Also thank you to all the people who worked all night & day on the track to get the meeting on. Gutted for Tai as such a build up to the meeting with his bike race and the buzz surrounding him & then such a cruel end to the night for him. Really hope he has a speedy recovery. Was very pleased with the 3 riders on the podium although did feel for Kasprzak who was leading the first attempt of the final but lost out in the rerun. Very happy for Emil on his win, hes flying. Congratulations to Kasprzak on the new Cardiff track record
  2. Hopefully now its sorted and instead of negativity we can look forward to a good meeting. Thank you to all those who spent the night and today working hard to get the meeting on. X
  3. Think it was a tongue in cheek comment. After all all the fans that went to the cancelled practice saw the mess of the track & they werent part of any joke. Hopefully now its sorted there will be some good racing tonight @doniversen: Threw a few practice laps in this morning. Track a lot better today. #BritishSGP
  4. @philmorrisgb: After extensive overnight track work, short practice session sorted and all systems are go! Meeting on 100% #speedwaygp
  5. Thanks for keeping us updated. Fingers crossed that not only is the track sorted but also able to produce some exciting racing
  6. @buzzbar28: @garypatchett new shale from Breedon on the way but won't be there until after 1am then trying to do 3 days work in 7hrs decision at 6am. @ALindbck: Practice cancelled, not even sure there will be race tomorrow! :/ #BritishSGP How has it gone so wrong? Track has been one of the best in the gp. Not looking very promising.
  7. What a sham, esp when Cardiff has a roof so not even affected by the weather. Now they have the task of doing 3days work in 5hours before deciding at 6am tomorrow if the gp will go ahead.
  8. Congratulations to Coventry Storm on a convincing win. Top of the league! X
  9. See Kings Lynn are hoping to announce a rider in the next 48hours to cover for Mads.
  10. Scott Nicholls, Ben Barker & Ashley Birks named so far. X
  11. Roynon practiced at Brandon on Monday and looked good. Said he felt good. Will be great to see him back racing. Great talent
  12. Surprised about Barker being in your team as seems to have struggled so far this year
  13. I agree as Nicholls looked very fast at both Peterborough & Coventry on Monday. Was also second in British final. (Is it too late for him to change his mind lol) With Nicholls out, my team would be: 1. WOFFINDEN (easily first name on there) 2. HARRIS. (Best in it last year/ give 100% 3. COOK. (Good at Lynn/ great form at minute) Then 4th would be between Kennett & King. Both have the ability to do well in the league although some what inconsistant. Just not sure against the big names. Kennett always cracks under Preassure in British Final so would he do the same in SWC? (Im really hoping Roynon can stay injury free and be a contender for next year, deserves some luck as got the talent)
  14. Pooles track has been on the decline for a while. Surprised it pasted an safety inspection tonight. Air fence not good either, really glad both riders got up from their crash. Berwick produced a much better meeting and it was more exciting to watch
  15. The first time Roynon rides is in the testimonial next sun. X
  16. 1. Tai 2. Holder 3. Zagar 4. Lindgren 5. kasprzak To make Final: Emil, Tai, Zagar, Holder
  17. Coventry spent most of 2011 with team made up of guests. Had 4 riders missing (Emil, Shamak, Piotr & Kennett) against Peterborough
  18. Starke & Ian should be ashamed. Starke a disgrace. Been a good close Pl meeting, enjoyed it. Brilliant win for Newcastle. Kennett riding like he did for Coventry. Congratulations to Berwick on a great track
  19. Isnt it abit early for this thread after only a couple of GPs? Qualifers havent even been done yet.
  20. Wont be Szczepaniak as that would make 4 d/u riders so would be out of Summers, Robbo or Allen. Guess will have better idea over next couple of meetings
  21. Completely agree. Great to see Emil leading standings. Early days but really hope he can stay up there
  22. Promotors did mean this at the start of the year and think its fair Workington last year rearranged meetings on nights Coventry were already racing so although it was our original fixture date it meant we ended up with Roynon
  23. adam roynon ‏@Ad_Royno42h Great news from the CT scan! Everything is fully recovered
