bigred replied to 21st century heathen's topic in National League Speedway
the sport will never survive if you go on Thursdays. -
10 years in the national league. ! does Ben qualify for a testimonial meeting ??
-
what about ben hopwood?
-
10 pound a point and 10 pence a mile travel !!! I think not, looks like brum have won the award for most expensive rider in the NL this year.
-
lambert and sarj rode for Leicester in the premier league, dan rode for them in the national trophy(impressed with dan that night) so how you can say " given it on a plate" I don't know. Really enjoyable meeting, great racing, well done to all the riders and all three sets of managment for getting the final on.

Get Max Clegg back where he started,If Cradley are no more he will be looking. Would he come into the premier league on a 3 point average?? he would also make a great number 1 for the stags..

if it were one of your precious "heathen" riders or mechanics knocked unconscious and hospitalised it would be talked about for years as you do with the roynan/Nielsen incident. And the curfew WAS due to "the incident" caused by greaves jnr & snr. Hope they get the OMMERING they deserve. -

"his dad being knocked over who wouldn't". What about the poor lad that got knocked out by his dad and put in hostpital, has everyone that are making excuses for nathen forgotten about that.!!!!.that is the reason why the meeting was abandoned, A bit of pushing and shoving on track you expect, but to carry it on off track, and then to jump into the crowd and start abusing them, young or not it can not happen. -

The "HEATHENS" were supposed to have the best fans in the country(apparently)..Now that there 2 top guys aren't at Cov tonight there's loads that wont go.....Hmmm what about the rest of the team, are they not worth your support. -
Swindon just dropped him for greaves...
-
All-in-all it seemed to be a very positive practice session for the lads with no major dramas. Thankfully there were no major blow-ups or obvious bike problems of any significance so that's a real plus too. 21ST CH, Max Clegg put on his facebook that the p&p was good apart from his best engine blowing up after his second ride..expensive p&p.
-
as his sponsor you cant really say any other really.....
-
So why did Scunthorpe pull the plug on the saints last year of a supposed 3 year plan to feed the premier league, leaving all there 2012 team without a team spot(lucky for dudley/cradley they did really). And why were none of them given a premier team spot for 2103.??
-
Danny Phillips chose not to take a team place last year and just concentrate on improving with practise, nothing to do with there being no place for him.
-
danny phillips isnt an asset to any team yet!(redcar would be favourites) and also heard rumous that matt williamson has become a scunny asset and due to be in the prem team this year....merry xmas everyone...roll on 2014.
-
Thats cos the burger sales trippled....!!!!!!
-
With Tom & Max riding together at leicster, wouldn't it make sense to pair them up for CRADLEY....also how about giving Dano or Lee or both a shot at reserve, they both stepped in when they were needed.
-
maybe jano could teach these riders how to lay a bike down, then maybe your precious mr shanes could have avoided a bent bike and a swollen hand.....what a shame for max clegg after his last four rides he was the quickest rider for sure, but well done to shaun for the win,and to all riders that took part, really enjoyed the whole meeting.
-
do you honestly think his parents won't have thought of that one.....
-
come on "the hitmen" you can do this.....
