  1. Going out on 9 points? I knew I should have bet credits on Hans
  2. SCB - Andersson and Bjerre were last years reserves. Apparently the list for this years are the people from last years GP series who are not in this years grand prix in the order of which they finished.
  3. Sorry, where was the riddicule in my post? You are more than welcome to post you're opinion, I did not have a problem with that, but like you said, others have a different opinion to yours so surely I am aloud to post my views too
  4. Sorry, but for what reason? For saying what I believe on a discussion form?
  5. I should imagine the weather will have a huge part to play in the track preparation.
  6. I happen to think I am one of Oxford's more passionate supporters, and yet even I struggle to 'believe' in us after the last season and a half. The one time I did show faith in keeping the result at Wolverhampton close by not bringing in Sam Martin (not that it probably made a huge deal of difference) you were one of the most vocal saying we have nothing to lose. I happen to also be very patriotic, especially when it come to speedway, and Team GB have surely given us reason to believe in them, especially after a spirited performance in Poland and yet, only a win will do for you to believe in them. After all of Oxford's defeats and many of them seemingly very half-hearted (certainly on the road) you choose to believe in them but not the 5 guys who have worn their heart on their sleeve for OUR country. Seems like double standards to me. Keep Smiling.
  7. Speaks the guy who thought our team was too negative. What do you expect when their fans don't believe in them?
  8. So are we finally agreed that the Poles did NOT cheat ?
  9. And? I was laughing at someone who STILL hasn't made the full step into the Elite League and yet is being put forward for a top draw international meeting
  10. No, it proves that Poland used Tomasz as a legitimate tactical joker ! They didn't try to use him as a tactical substitute as well as a tactical joker so that is irrelevant.
  11. Here you go from the 2003 world cup programme : "Points scored by a tactical joker will be doubled. When a team in a four team competition is 6, or in a 5 team competition 8, or more points behind in arrears of the leading team, the team manager may substitue a rider in the next heat with another rider who will ride as the tactical joker. The team manager may also nominate a programmed rider as the tactical joker" So there EDIT - You've actually proved yourself wrong in your post!
  12. So why has no-one noticed before? This has happened many times since the new format was re-introduced. No-one has posted the definiton of a tactical joker as the rulebook dictates. I should imagine it allows a rider to gain double points from his own ride OR replace another rider in the team and the points he scores will be doubled.
  13. Everyone does it Shawn ! Gollob had a 'tactical joker' there's nothing in the rules to say a joker must be used on someone already in the heat
  14. Well, if you're going to be that specific, I believe you need to take away poor old Kaj Laukkenen's point from his joker too, would you be that cruel?
  15. It's called a tactical joker, they didn't cheat, they played it perfectly
  16. In the same way that Schlein was out of his depth ? I'd rather they used Schlein than McGowan.
  17. With regards to the joker, 6 points is not enough points to be behind. Needs to be at least 8 IMO. Also, I don't think it should be allowed to be played in the final 5 races.
  18. In the same way that it was Bomber and Steadys last year?
