Questions i am sure that will be answered in due course.

Think the original poster was putting a positive spin on being able to take to track , then you come along with your usual negativity thought you might have been pleased a team in trouble may have found a solution . Team building will be the final piece and to be honest as long as we are competitive I don't think any off us care as long as we have the Tiger's to support , I notice no other negative comments only your's why am i not surprised

Newcastle V Somerset Double Header Sun 30/09/2012 @ 5pm
Gazc replied to dantodan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Wondered how long that would take to crop up whilst i don't dis-agree with you everybody knew what the rules were at the start off the season -
I have it on Good authority Michael doesn't like 1/4 pounders (to much fat in them ) i know he likes pies though that is why he eats them all
-
Your not getting him then throw in the buns for the 1/4 pounders and we might have a deal

Not at all you just need some new patter

“We want to make you aware that the club will stage a critical meeting of supporters at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel (Queen Mary Suite) this coming Saturday, 6th October, with arrival 4:30pm for 5:00pm. We need EVERY supporter to show their backing for the very future of Glasgow Speedway and turn out in force to demonstrate their passion and support for the Tigers. If the club is to have a future in 2013 and beyond, it is of paramount importance that ALL supporters – current, occasional and past – turn out on Saturday as the attendance on the night will be used as a barometer for collective appetite for speedway to continue in the City. This really is the occasion where your support is vital. All supporters in attendance will be addressed by the promotion, with regards the future of the club. Come and enjoy watching the decisive GP from Torun which will be shown ‘live’ on a big screen. Admission is FREE, with food and drink available for purchase on the night. The future of Glasgow Tigers is in your hands, see you there” The above taken from the Official site now i may be slightly critical here but surely the potential new owner's will know how the club is performing financially via the company accounts instead off how many fans turn up next week to act as a barometer if it is viable . I know off some Glasgow fan's quite a few in-fact who are travelling to the final GP next week in Poland we have been given just over a week's notice in respect to the above and they intend to use the attendance next week as a gauge to assume the viability of Glasgow Speedway not well thought out in my opinion . Fan's being taken for granted once again in my opinion

Maybe but the amount off rain we have had it may well have been rideable but race able i would doubt better it be called off rather than forced on with no entertainment value for the paying public , the official site had said the track was under water in parts At the rate the injuries are happening we may not have anyone fit by the 14th

This one has never been cracked before have you no new material this one has been played to death now, i bet that this will be done again next week and the following week and so on you need to get out more or perhap's study to be a weatherman Rained in the west since 5pm last night until 1pm today brightened up now but i guess the damage has been done

Unlike some on here and after the positive new's regarding my club on potential new owners in this week's Speedway Star i hope that the next positive noises we get are from Workington, wether on new owners or current one seeing the potential in Cumbria. The crowd levels on previous visit's to Derwent Park were the envy off most and the Fan base i am sure is still there , there has been a lot said on different thing's regarding the dwindling crowds but one thing for certain is that all this must be put to one side and i am sure the real fans will support there club. We need a strong Workington as the Northern clubs have benefitted from large number's off comet's fan's visiting for year's , reality is most if not all northern based clubs need each other to generate the required interest both from a financial point & atmosphere point , As a Glasgow fan i am pleased we have hopefully made progress in securing our future and hope Workington are next and all Northern Club's can prosper feeding off each other

Potential new owners wishing to address fans at the Marriott Hotel on the 6th October should the purchase proceed. Seems that they wish to let the Fan's know on there plans for the future off the club positive news at least , albeit the sale has not went through as yet

Do you set out to make yourself as unpopular as possible, or does it come naturally.

Don't see why it would it is completely separate the BSPA will make there decision regardless what may unfold at Glasgow, if and i would say this find in our favour as he rode enough meeting's for us last season and the unthinkable happened and we were not to run then i guess he would then be an asset off the BSPA. After that i would think that anyone who would which to acquire his contract from them would be able to negotiate, but let's all hope we can get to track next year i would rather lose Bellego than not have a team to watch

Premier League Challenge Trophy (the 7 - 12 Cup)
Gazc replied to Pere Ubon's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I have a feeling we will have longer than 5 months without speedway up here in Glasgow , hope i am wrong though. -
Glasgow had significant increased cost's out with the track alteration cost so yes it has a great deal to do with Glasgow's losses last season , Alan Dick had an interview a few months back saying the increased points money alone last season incurred significant losses. But you are quite correct that teams need to be re-shaped accordingly to fit in with there cash flow model which will also need to be altered to reflect costs against lower income streams.

Sad but true Glasgow recorded losses off £30k last season during there title winning season , seems that success in this sport is rewarded with big losses Edinburgh made the same noises about loss a couple off years ago after one off there title winning season's

This must rank as one off the silliest post's i have seen, riders take guest booking's to earn extra money therefore if Kevin Doolan does not score any point's he would not earn that extra money unless you are implying that there is something sinister going on because he is an Ipswich asset -

Forecast is that they may have to water the Palm trees in Armadale tomorrow as Michael Fish has said it is to be a scorcher (well he never got it wrong did he,) and the Emmerdales have panic bought on all the factor 50 or thereabouts as most of them are gingers and burn easily. I will keep you posted on more weather updates after i finish this joint
