  1. Not our problem harsh as it may seem , same as it couldn’t be helped whilst Redcar had to cobble a team of guests together at Oxford. But there was no chance off this meeting going ahead tonight regardless if Scott isn’t convinced or not.
  2. How far away is Scott ,the call off has proved justified as the rain showers have been torrential with the odd bright spell in between. Anyway who really cares how unconvinced he is anyway it’s off and rightly so.
  3. He was but something clearly went wrong as he was clearly struggling, confidence or carrying an injury.? Maybe both.
  4. Can see him retiring ,watching him shut off going into the bends at the CLRC was painful to watch.
  5. I’m guessing if we offer Saturday and Oxford refuse (Unlikely) then that can be construed in the same way as Glasgow not completing the fixture. If that is the case should they forfeit the tie , it’s just a ridiculous scenario that we are discussing one club or the other forfeiting a tie for differing reasons.
  6. Don’t come up to Scotland much in October then, if and it’s a big if Glasgow are in the mix then running into November is very likely.
  7. That fixture has taken place this is a play off fixture now. Its not Karma as you say it’s attempting to run a summer sport entering winter and expecting the weather to play ball.
  8. Can’t argue with any of that , think it is more an issue getting riders available and working round there schedule and there is the problem.
  9. Can’t keep extending cut offs though we’re do you stop. As it is a summer sport the fixtures for the playoffs should and could have been completed by mid July. But once again here we are trying to cram meetings in to complete the season when the weather doesn’t play ball.
  10. Think we’re all getting to the past caring stages ,four weeks sitting idle between June and July and now we are depending on weather entering October. Bookmark this and we will be saying the same next year and the next. But to answer your question on or before Saturday or we forfeit the meeting.
  11. Set in stone in speedway very quickly becomes not set in stone.
  12. Would assume so but it was BSN that let the cat out the bag on the cut off not a peep from the very professional BSPL. I have obviously lied about the very professional part.
  13. Won’t suit the narrative that we do ,anyway looking at the forecast for the rest of the week we may not need a crowd as storm Agnes looks to put paid to watching any Speedway this week. Looks like a small window of dry weather on Friday but the damage may already have been done by then.
  14. He is correct as it is the next meeting and we fail to win 51-39 or greater then Wednesday is irrelevant.
  15. You would think the clowns in charge couldn’t outdo themselves on the buffoonery meter , but no season after season they soar to new levels of complete incompetence that you wouldn’t see in a carry on film.
  16. I have never understood why attendance figures are never published at Speedway the way Football figures are published.
  17. Still a healthy crowd though for an off day fixture. Seemed to fill up just before star time.
  18. September in Glasgow no need to dance it’s a given.
  19. He is very strong around Glasgow not so much away.
  20. That’s what I heard the two sections have to be completed no later than Saturday 30th September. Any meeting not completed by then the away team will be awarded the points.
  21. Odd victory margins are rare meaning a 3-2 for example but anything’s possible.
  22. Job done, Oxford on Tuesday the main focus now 12 point victory required or season over achieve that then all or nothing at Redcar , sounds simple.
  23. Agree forecast is poor at best not to mention the amount of water it has dumped on us overnight.
