Belle Vue might have been missing Kurtz, but Birmingham were missing MJJ. I think the absences balanced out.

Fairly certain Sheffield got a facility for Woffinden. Don't the rules say you can't have a facility for a rider who hasn't ridden for you.

Good decision by the BSPA to extend to the facility for MJJ. You could argue that MJJ's absence is medical related (exhaustion/fatigue).

Just listened to the Tolley interview. A very smart guy who is super articulate. He seems to get a lot of stick on this forum, not sure why? Really nice comments on MJJ from Tolley. Tolley said the door is open for Michael to return later on in the season.

Maybe the delayed streams attracted so few buyers, that Birmingham decided it wasn't worth recording the meeting?

You make it sound like Birmingham had a choice. If there was a rider of MJJ's quality that wanted to sign a contract for the whole season, Birmingham would have done it. They had to settle for MJJ on a two month contract, because nobody else wants to ride in the UK.
