  1. More info put out today http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2568.1
  2. Cannot find the Swindon 2015 thread so will post on this one. Rider of the year is Zengi. No info yet on other rider positions. One thing he has stated is that he wants to talk to the management on Sunday and try to sort out a return in 2016, I would have no problem with his returning.
  3. But will it have a roof. One problem ER is that they keep giving out different info, originally the shape was going to be based on the Birmingham Track and it would be of FIM standard and able to hold international meetings, but when you look at the crowd capacity and parking, I am doubtful of that . It has been quoted as taking 5 months to build, possibly 6. I believe it will be built but we may have a delay to the start of the 2016 season.
  4. Yes has been mentioned on End of Era meeting at Swindon but probably still worth its own thread here. No doubt there will be some reports and comments after the meeting.
  5. These are his averages home and away http://www.swindonrobins.co/statistics15.php My liking the post earlier about building teams to a high level is because I get fed up with the top teams having to get rid of riders each year because they are successful.
  6. Kyle Newman added to riders, I assume EL Select.
  7. If Jason Crump is still in the uk hopefully he will be there and Mads and Steady would be welcomed.
  8. Teams announced so far Swindon Peter Kildemand Kyle Howarth Greg Zengota Nicolai Klindt Troy Batchelor Lewis Rose Peter Karger Select Davey Watt Danny King Chris Harris Justin Sedgmen Adam Ellis Unfortunately Nick and Aaron are riding for Glasgow that day. http://swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2562 Just noted following post by CR Originally Jason Doyle was down to ride and Killer has a meeting abroad on his schedule, so not sure what is happening.
  9. Makes sense and could also reduce costs
  10. Only for the dog racing, when Phillip kicks them up the arse they can arf run.
  11. Justin Sedgmen putting in big scores for Edinburgh again today, might be a good d/u option.
  12. He will, it has been stated that the track will be completed in 5 possibly 6 months, but doubt it will be to the standard of Torun in that time. Am hoping that will come in 2017.
  13. Like many of this posters team line ups. I am surprised they have not included MJJ as they usually do.
  14. What date is the AGM as some of the Aussies will have to sign for clubs and get their visa's sorted before they go home. Will the Aus GP riders want to return to the UK after the event and some of the other Aussies not in the GP but wanting to be at the event. It seems a bit silly for them to have to return to the UK to sign a bit of paper then get on a plane and to back to Aus again.
  15. Did not bother watching the last few GPs but am I glad I saw this one. Brilliant racing and lots of action on a decent track. It was just a shame Jason Doyle could not get his first win after his performance all night, but congrats to NP Congratulations also go to Tai on his well deserved 2nd World Championship.
  16. 6.91, I also believe he is an "asset" of the Readypower people, so he would not cost you much.
  17. A lot depends on the make up of the teams and team limit. Will we have one or two FTR riders and what are they going to do with the team limit with riders on false averages. Signings I would like to see N Morris - improved again and can only see him getting better, needs to drop PL and ride on the continent for more experience. G Zengota - another rider who improved when needed. A Summers - again, he improved when needed, but average may now be too high to fit in. J Doyle - main issue is his high average of 9.44 which would mean a newcomer on a low average. Killer - if he can do a whole whole season or they bring in a squad or rider share option. I wonder if J Sedgmen and A Ellis are being given an opportunity to show what they can do next week with the possibility of one of them being used in 2016.
  18. Line up Jason Doyle Chris Harris Danny King Kyle Howarth Adam Ellis Nicolai Klint Justin Sedgman More riders to be confirmed after the PL playoffs
  19. I am sure Sam can explain over the pa system what the advantages of the engines are, and if he should do so they have Gary Havelock on standby who knows about these engines to act as an interpreter.
  20. No not yet. Details from web site about the engine http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2558
  21. More details 150 cc - 12 heats then the Final Showcase of the new Speedway Foundation Jawa engine, featuring Sam Ermolenko and guests riding them.
