  1. Sky still have Cov Poole on its schedule for April 14th Followed by Apr 22 Wolves BV Apr 29 Peterborough Newcastle May 14 KL Swindon May 19 Lakeside KL May 26 Swindon BV
  2. Do not know about that Matt, but they paid a lot out in travel and setting up costs yesterday.
  3. I would love to be a fly on the wall today when whoever signed the new Speedway deal meets the bosses and explains how the massive first meeting of this season went.
  4. He has probably now got a better pay deal.
  5. Nick Morris replaces Ty Proctor at Somerset
  6. Great news for Nick and the Rebels. It also means that a few Swindon fans will now go to watch him there.
  7. The last time I went, once the meeting started fans were moving about and changing tiers, mainly to get away from the Polish who had been drinking all day and continuing during the meeting. Do not know if they have stopped that but as Jacques says pick the back straight.
  8. I see the pairs is also repeated many times on the days following the meeting. Many thanks for this information, and the excellent list at the start of this thread .
  9. By some of the reports on here, good beer. Wish I had been able to go as I know what some of the polish fans are like at Cardiff, noisy but friendly in the stadium and in the pubs before the meeting.
  10. Does Zielon Gora also have a villiage idiot ?
  11. On the bspa website it states that there is an under 21 British semi meeting on March 22nd, but your own website link from the bspa site only mentions a Devils meeting and no mention of a under 21 meeting. Can anyone confirm which is correct. If it is the Brit under 21 where does it list the riders
  12. I read that and your understanding is correct, but as the two leagues are getting closer it might be argued that the top riders in the PL are at the same level as mid riders in the EL. If not allowed it will force Jason to ride abroad which he should be doing, if not already arranged.
  13. The definition of "working" is difficult. 20 hrs is approx 10 meetings or if you take it down to the time on the bike, each meeting is about only 30 mins, as the mechanics do all the preparation. Does this mean he can also ride for a PL team, if a space becomes available.
  14. That is what happens when you give a dick head a bit of authority, power goes to their head.
  15. No, but can be used for the same purpose
  16. The crowd at Swindon goes up when Poole visit. They are exciting meetings and the other reason is because we usually beat them.
  17. Which is different to most other sports where they change nationality, some at the drop of a hat. I am not saying that that should happen.
  18. Then they may have to accept that if One sport arrange more meetings where riders can earn more money a lot of current gp riders drop out of the sgp. I hope they can work together rather than the fim taking a stance that is causing problems.
  19. That is good, but do these clowns not realize they will have the same battle next year if they try to impose it then. At least they have a year to try to sort something out.
  20. Totally agree and if fees are paid to the fim by the riders or federations, save some at the same time, either pay less or provide money for training etc, possibly both if the fees are high.
  21. That would be good Ray, but all these curling teams would complain about the spike holes in the ice, mind you having seen the posts from lioness, they might help her game.
