Tomlinson tweeted about a meeting on 2nd Aug so I messaged him today and asked if there was any news coming from it. No reply.

I would say we will struggle to win a race let alone the meeting!!

I couldn't agree more. I would have kept him. But lets face it we were skint. Plus Nick definitely earned his chance. But to me, I dont see how anyone could turn down the world champ.

Doyley seems content at Somerset which is a shame. Doyley, Morris, Ellis and Zach are certs for me if they all wanted to come back. But will we even track a 2019 team? That could be the biggest question of them all.

Im actually glad we won't make the play offs as we have no chance of winning the league and would just get annihilated by Poole or Somerset in the semis. Rather go out now than then.

I wasn't very clear when I said about the houses being built on the back straight. What I meant was the houses were being built on the other side of the road. If the new pits were somewhere near the current back straight car park then surely the people that buy the houses will be complaining.

The thing that worries me are the houses being built behind the back straight. Wasn't this where the new pits are supposed to be going? Tomlinson told my mate that there is no legal agreement in place for it yet and SBC want this to make sure it happens. We all know the end is near.

I couldn't agree more. The rubbish weather in Oct must affect the play off crowds. If the final was the 1st week of Sep then there is a much better chance of better weather.

Starman seemed to think the bumps were a figment of everyones imagination!!

Reserves are the main difference for Poole and Somerset. Plus Somerset have about the only out and out number 1 in the league. Can only see those 2 in the final and should be a good final at that

Do you think there were no bumps on the track? Im not having a dig at Poole as it was the only TV meeting ive watched from start to finish as I thought it was decent. But the track was bumpy and everyone could see that.
