Swindon Robins V Coventry Bees 26th May 2015
thecoombdog replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yeah a lot of British riders could learn from his attitude 100%. I've been a critic of Bomber in the GP'S but no one could ever criticise his attitude or effort and in that way Howarth reminds me of him. Like you say there is no gobbing off in the press about how he should be doing this and that like certain riders. Hopefully he will be at Swindon for a long time. -

Yeah maybe I read your post wrong. I thought you were making excuses but as you pointed out you were just stating facts. It doesn't change the fact you never see fault in your own club or riders but for that post last night I apologise for reading it wrongly. -

I've got a mate who likes Polish fish pie and he has caught all sorts of nasty things from that hobby so I really feel for Batch if that's the case. -

You will find I'm one of the least biased and blinkered posters on here my friend! I thought Cov had no chance of keeping this form up all season but the more I think about it the more I think it's yours to lose if the 2 draft boys stay fit. Good result for us tonight but if that's a 2 legged play off you lot are going home happy. Gonna be hard to beat when it comes down to aggregate scores over 2 meetings I've seen Batch giving up all season for a variety of reasons so maybe the fact he kept his illness secret from Rosco was the final straw for him and the rant was needed to clear the air. -

I honestly don't see how it will matter to Swindon. -

I had to read this as I knew you would post sh1te!!! Sergeant's error was totally his own. Hans ran in to the side of Morris when he was ahead so should have been exc. Garrity clearly made contact with Dak so correct decision. I see you are still posting biased nonsense and are the most clueless poster on here. -

It don't matter giving away a point to Cov as they are gone in terms of a top 4 place. Will only matter against BV and KL. -

I can't stand Havelock. Always hated him as a rider and he does my nut in with the sh1te he spouts on TV. BUT in his defence no one had seen the angle where it showed there was contact until after the decision was made. So he is bound to be annoyed as it looked 50/50 until that replay. -

If Tatum thought it was the correct decision then it must be as plain as day because he hates Swindon! -

Thank god Hans is ok. Thought our number 1 injury jinx was going to strike again. -

Surely get the doc to say he's too sick and IRR comes in for heat 13? -

That is pure class from Howarth. Serjeant pooped his pants! -

Gutted I can't make tonight after recent knee surgery but a few beers mixed with the pain killers will numb the pain of a 4 pointer for Cov. Should be a cracker either way though based on how the track has been this season. Lovely weather in the Don today as well. -

I will say now that our top 5 will outscore theirs but we will be at least 10 points down at reserve so a 4 point Cov win on the cards. Hans will score poorly as he is lowering his average to return to Swindon after the world cup break. -
I think Swindon could have had him as we picked before you. The fact we didn't makes me wonder what went on behind closed doors.

Swindon V Leicester May 21st

Had to miss tonight but sounds like at least he was gating. I'd give him time. We can carry him at the moment and as long as he comes good in July/August he will be ok. He's no lost hope like Greaves last year. I think they will smash us Tuesday but get that out the way and get the number 1 problem sorted and we will be alright. It's between us and BV for that 4th spot. -

I agree with your top 3 but I don't rate Belle Vue as much as other people do so I think we could pip them if we get the number 1 right. I was pessimistic pre season as wasn't sure about 4 of our top 5 but Morris has been absolute class home and away and this means Howarth and Zengi will prob remain as 2nd strings which does make us strong there. Been v impressed with Howarth. The lad loves to race! Never knows when he is beat. But as we said all that means nothing if we don't have a decent number 1! -

I feel another little bet coming on SCB!!! Once the number 1 position is sorted I will bet you another £50 that we make it. If AM is back then we have no chance but I can't see this happening. So once we know what's happening at the top of the team we can review the bet and if you are up for it then it's on. I trust you to pay up like last year! -
Yeah its an article based on the sort of inside info that the Coventry stalker gets from Facebook pages. Absolute non story throughout.

Swindon - Belle Vue 7.5.15
thecoombdog replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He's winding you up and you bite every time! Just ignore him until the middle of September and then laugh at him when we are miles ahead of them in the table! I know Batch scored the same as he did last week but I thought he had actually improved this week. At least he was racing and was involved in a few good battles. Last week he practically gave up if he missed the gate. If Morris continues this form then Zengi and Howarth will be second strings all season which makes us strong there. Just need to sort the top 2 out and maybe it won't be such a bad season after all! Batch will come good when he's fit. Just need to persuade Killer to stay. -
