As already explained you have champions league spots . , relegation and the higher you finish means you can million of extra pounds ...something that Speedway does not the luxury of . so yet another easy question to answer

Of course I know you would still go Sid because you love your speedway and you not to worried about the result ...sadly not everyone is like you . When did anyone say that the Play offs were the saviour of the sport ? I look at the whole topic and I have not seen one person say that or suggest that .

I Have answered your question nothing has to change with the subject we are talking about the play offs ...unless you can up with some logic on why the crowrds would be bigger without them .as I said before fans don't want consolation finals they have been done before and they don't work .

It not what you said ..you that the Lakeside crowd was poor because of the plays offs ...so I ask again why without the plays offs would that match have had a higher crowd ....if think crowds are poor because of the play offs you have to come up with logic to back it or why they would be higher without them .

Were they ? Edinburgh and Glasgow and Poole and Belle Vue finals were packed . not sure why you would change meetings that give the only big crowds you are likely to get in a season .

Of course it is .but has been explain Speedway needs something to keep the season going and make sure that fans keeps going ...Football has promotion and relegation , Champions league spots plays off that can get you up a division plenty to keep the fans going

The big thing difference is that in Football play offs there is a massive carrot for winning them hence why fans watch them ...having a play off cup that does not have the league title on line means nothing to the fans and hence why no one would watch it ...that is why we don't have the craven shield Jack Young play off cup any more as they have been tried and never worked ..

If play offs were a promblem in speedway then why are they not a promblem in others sports . Yet another only in speedway myth .

Not really Sid ...like many others I am going go if it's looks like a decent meeting or we have a chance of making the play offs if that means going to six home matches then so be it .....

How many do you think they have in Sweden and Poland .......you could have five home meetings a year but unless there was something worthwhile to ride for the modern fan won't go

Most of the fans want the plays offs ...it's a small number mainly from people over 55 who don't want them If you going to bring the ko cup back at all levels that is not a bad idea thou I reckon who might have to have them all on the same day ...the only doubt is would enough fans travel that far north to make it work money wise

I agree with you ..not sure everything else is irrelevant thou ...if he thinks and he wants to Aussie he should have rode for them .
