It cracks me up that people have such a big problem with Penhill about dropping points when we know the Brits like Wigg and Simmons etc all took money to drop points at these meetings ....in fact Wigg has been look upon as some kind of speedway hero .

That does not mean you should get the job, but I think you need to achieve something in the sport as a team manager . before you are considered for it .

What have Screen and Havvy won as team managers ? The semi final ..yea how many of those has he made now to go along with his the titles with two clubs ..no matter what people think his record speaks for itself what is a outstanding one .so your right his motivational skills have be admired over a long period of time .

Yea Havvy and Screeny one brain cell between them and don't forget the British passion Scott Nicholls shows by not riding for them .

You said that they said it never happened ...I read them and they doubt how bad it was and quite righty as North stayed in the uk ...Ford statement changes nothing and no one should feel that they were wrong or foolish .

I had a good look and I still find one post when anyone said that the accident never took place as you said .It was as I remember people not understanding why North never went home rather than playing golf and riding speedway and also Wondering why Poole got a guest if the accident was not bad enough for North to catch the first plane home . Ford who can't be trusted making a statement does not prove anything or change anyone views of what happen .

Matt k has been banging the drum on this one for a long time .. and in the forrest of all the idea's people come up with that are unworkable and silly this is one of the better one's and would help both league's out .

I agree with Dave Jones ..the farewell was a con and a poor one at that ....I never went as it was clear to me that we would be back the Abbey next season as it was to Tr .

It would depend on the rules ...Mo Farrah etc do not always win there heats in major games knowing that they only need to finish top 6 sometimes to reach the next round or final ...before trying to win the final ..like any game or sport the object is to win under the set of rules that have been given . I watch the Tennis at to o2 the other week that novak come second in his is league/group but went on to win the title as the rules allowed him to go into the semi finals rules that were set out before hand . bit shocked that we got tickets as people having been walking away from sports that have play offs so was amazed for it to be a sell out when we were expecting empty seats

Come on Alan ...Matt Ford has release a press statement saying that he staying at home to look after his dad ...it's nothing to with him not being able to get a work permit It amazing when people read press statements From Matt Ford and papers in general and take them as gospel .

You don't thou ...this argument has carried on before the likes of you has carried on saying that the crowds and money would be better without the plays offs but still after all this time come up with no no logic in your reasons . ...all the people who like the plays offs have long agreed that in a ideal world a league would a better decided if who were top of the league were the champions that never in been dispute . Sadly speedway not being to have clubs that can move up and divisions etc has to keep the season alive for as many clubs as possible so the crowds don't dip To sum it speedway would be fairer if we had a league where the top club were champions but at this present time can't afford that luxury ...to me it's just crystal clear to see I am not even sure what the argument is .
