No one is saying that the gp sysytem is perfect far from it ....what is wrong is the over 50 's going on about the one off World Final's what was one off the most unfair systems of all time as due when you when got to the final 6 or 7 of the 16 should not have been there So much for your sense of fair play . People who don't like Gp's are all the same type ..they hate the play offs they want second halfs back, love one off world finals and are over 50 and had zero idea about the money side of the sport .

I was useing F1 as a postive F1 gets more viewing figures because it's hyped but it's not better because people on a speedway forum reckon speedway is better :rofl: . And you go on about people talking nosense :lol:

No you choose to used other sports as an example as how they are true world championship events in your eyes, as i have show you that is not the case . Not sure how they were obvious when you missed them out when trying to make your example ..the bottom line if you look closely at any sport the you will find it deeply flawed as a proper world championship just like the one off World Final was .

I thought that at Wimbledon there were wildcards ? i also thought that the host in the Football world cup went into the finals without playing a game ? or have those rules changed ? When do the F1 qualification rounds start ?

Sweden and Poland ride on the same day as when they have a live tv match did it finish off speedway completely ? ...i never said anythnk what promoters would want to ride on a monday just pointing out that it is possable to have a set race night the uk if they wanted to .

You said that it's not possible to have the same race night the fact is you can ...i am sure in Sweden Tuesday is not the best day to run speedway but to move forward you have to try, in Elite league's case maybe two set nights is the way forward .

What current EL clubs can't run on a monday night ? how many many have dog racing on a monday night ?

No one fails to understand they just think your wrong ....we have a system now that without doubt has the best riders in the world championship what else could anyone ask for .

The old world championship system was totaly unfair for a start not once were the top 16 best riders in it as it allowed rubbish riders into it if they came from a certain area in the world plus if you got injured you were out as well . When it comes to being unfair the old system was miles ahead you can have one ef and not be able and that would cost you any chance of winning ..the system they used now nearly always give us a true world champion .

England ? as they none at the moment ...next your be telling me it's fair that hey have the World cup final in Poland every other year . If The world cup final was at Lakeside or Wolves every other year do you reckon Poland would win ? do you think Hampel And Gollob would do so well if 3 gp's were at Lakeside ,Wolves and say Eastbourne ? . The point is righty or wrongly these events are ran to make money rather than it being a equal contest .

Pretty easy queston to answer ,,the moment the Gp replaced the old system it became more important to make money than it to be a world championship event ..the last thing they want is riders who won't sell tickets They also do this on where he gp's are held sure it great to have 3 gp's in Poland as it makes money but surely in a so called world championship event that is unfair .

The reason being if you do that then every team would put there best rider there as they could cherry pick rides /gates etc ....the one thing we all argree on is that is a reserve should be in place ,if Hampel had not being to ride after being knock off by Ward then Poland would have lost ithe World cup .How unfair would that have been ? .

How many times were the above two in the top 3 of the world championship ? Gollob as well as winning one world title has won the World Cup many times mainly being top scorer and captain and been at the top of the sport for a very long time as well as being one of the most entertaining riders of all time . To me Gollob is true great for many reason than just winning one world title .

The format is pretty good but i would like to see a few changes . The final should be not be in Poland /Denmark year in year out ,this event should be about sport not the BSI / FIM makeing money the same goes for GB having a home leg each year . A reserve must be in a place but can only be used a maximum of two times for any reason ,that would help teams if a rider got hurt but also mean that teams could not used the rule to cheat ect . The joker to be used only if your 10 pts behind and no tac subs .
