Track staff are hardly likely to be outside the staduim selling tickets 30 mins before start time are they ?

Because they never placed bets on it happening .in cricket i've seen someone let the ball go for four so that they keep that batsman on strike, it's called tactics ..as long as things are being done to help there side win there there is nothing wrong with it .

For simple reason how do you know when someone is hurt and not fakeing it to gain an advantage ? For example King falls in his first ride and says is arm hurts and he can't ride any more and then the better riders take the rest of his rides . You got to get the balance right between letting someone replace a injured rider but at the same time not letting that side gain an advantage by doing so ..the idea about having two reserves who can take a max of two rides each sounds perfect .

i Think most fans see it that way it's just common sense . A rider will get injured early doors in one these meetings it's just matter of time it might even happen this week .

More of a concern than the joker is having no reserve ,it's a matter of time before we have a pile up in a early heat and a team loses a rider and the meeting is ruined and a teams hopes gone . Each team should have a reserve who can only take a max of two rides at anytime in the meeting, so not only them a chane to replace the injured rider also stops the kind of stunt the poles pulled in the final the other year ..i expect it won't change thou intill something like the above happens .

She normally puts people to sleep not sure she can get cable from her caravan anyhow as it all been stolen and sold for scrap

Should come in handy for people who are wanting to stay up all night for the first Gp .

It's not a fact that the one off world finals were not a lottery it's your view you need to understand that ...others feel that is was yet again that does mean they are right it's just there view .

What else is there to say ? you are your oap mate watched speedway but think never had a clue that it matter what gate riders were on ...just like most subjects on here your got made to look a fool again .

Well common sense will tell's that if the race draw is changed then so will the race dynamic in each heat thus changeing the outcome of each heat and indeed the overrall result ..and with small margins in a one off world finals many of the results would not have been the same .

No they won't win off any gate at the top level ...if two unbeaten riders meet in there last race and one has the best gate and one has the worst then the most likely result is one with the best gate is going to win ....for someone who reckons he watches speedway you sure clueless if you don't reckon it's not important what gates riders are on and there going to go out and win no matter what .

Who said anythink about outsiders or pre season favorites winning ? no matter what the draw certain riders still can't win but there is loads of times when the champion would not have been the same but for the gate draw . In speedway meetings haveing he best gate twice rather than once can be massive and no more so in one off World Finals .

Most of those 40 finals would have had a another result if drawn in another raceorder such were the fine margins of a one off world final ..only a dummy like you could think otherwise how many winners there were over that time means nothing .

None, as i said i like to watch events with skill rather than an event that was decided by was number you had on your racejacket .

Not a slur on anyone ..the format was crap not the riders .No great champions because it was mainly a lottery ...only know can someone be called a fair and true champion . Don't have a downer

I have a hugh downer as it rubbish just because it was part of history means you can't say that ? ..Kerry Packers world series is a part of crickets history and that was crap as well .
