None, as i said i like to watch events with skill rather than an event that was decided by was number you had on your racejacket .

I have a hugh downer as it rubbish just because it was part of history means you can't say that ? ..Kerry Packers world series is a part of crickets history and that was crap as well .

Well yea as if they had been drawn another number they may have not have won ...the only true champions are the one's frm the Gp's as it always shows the true world no 1 from that year .

IF people had better gates than others then it is a lottery if you drew bad you had next to no chance of winning ...Just glad to see that the modern fan likes to see a fair world champion crown rather than a lucky one .

Never proved anythink ..the old one off final was lottery and was won on the draw most of the time ...it's reminded of a fishing match when the person who drew a bad peg had no chance of winning .

Did the money go where you reckon it went ? where it was suppose to go and where it went are two diffrent things all together, i think most people knew that most of money went into certain peoples back pockets rather than the naive idea that it all went back into British speedway . As for you and the money side you show how way out of touch you were by not understanding why there is a need for play offs

How manu more times i don't think the Gp's are great far from it ,what my problem is is that you try make out that they are not fair and the one off world final was ..when each year it never allowed the top 16 riders to be in it . The GP'S is far from perfect but to go about the one off world off world final being fair is a joke ..the one of final did not give you fair crack of whip to get into as if were born in certain part of the world you had less of a chance of getting into the final . As for the world one of final being superb exitement that is another joke thou some were good a lot of them were boring due to having 6 or 7 guys who had right to be in there in the first place .... Tell me what sort of crowds were the one off world finals getting in there last few years ? 100.000, 50,000 ?

Nothing about it being automatically better, the fact is time has moved on ..British speedway is not he top league in the world, not as many people watch speedway in the uk anymore etc etc . My assuming that people who want the off final back are over 50 is spot on thou ,people living in the past . it would be great if speedway could have the crowds like it did in the golden years but the fact it thats not going to happen by bringing things back things that were popular 40 years ago like you want . As for credibility you already been told how unfair and wrong the old system was about 300 times not sure why we have to tell you again .

No one is saying that the gp sysytem is perfect far from it ....what is wrong is the over 50 's going on about the one off World Final's what was one off the most unfair systems of all time as due when you when got to the final 6 or 7 of the 16 should not have been there So much for your sense of fair play . People who don't like Gp's are all the same type ..they hate the play offs they want second halfs back, love one off world finals and are over 50 and had zero idea about the money side of the sport .

I was useing F1 as a postive F1 gets more viewing figures because it's hyped but it's not better because people on a speedway forum reckon speedway is better :rofl: . And you go on about people talking nosense :lol:

No you choose to used other sports as an example as how they are true world championship events in your eyes, as i have show you that is not the case . Not sure how they were obvious when you missed them out when trying to make your example ..the bottom line if you look closely at any sport the you will find it deeply flawed as a proper world championship just like the one off World Final was .

I thought that at Wimbledon there were wildcards ? i also thought that the host in the Football world cup went into the finals without playing a game ? or have those rules changed ? When do the F1 qualification rounds start ?

Sweden and Poland ride on the same day as when they have a live tv match did it finish off speedway completely ? ...i never said anythnk what promoters would want to ride on a monday just pointing out that it is possable to have a set race night the uk if they wanted to .

You said that it's not possible to have the same race night the fact is you can ...i am sure in Sweden Tuesday is not the best day to run speedway but to move forward you have to try, in Elite league's case maybe two set nights is the way forward .

What current EL clubs can't run on a monday night ? how many many have dog racing on a monday night ?

No one fails to understand they just think your wrong ....we have a system now that without doubt has the best riders in the world championship what else could anyone ask for .

The old world championship system was totaly unfair for a start not once were the top 16 best riders in it as it allowed rubbish riders into it if they came from a certain area in the world plus if you got injured you were out as well . When it comes to being unfair the old system was miles ahead you can have one ef and not be able and that would cost you any chance of winning ..the system they used now nearly always give us a true world champion .

Thats what i said the GP'S are run in Poland to make money the same as the World Cup Final ...nothing to do with it being fair what any world championship should be .

England ? as they none at the moment ...next your be telling me it's fair that hey have the World cup final in Poland every other year . If The world cup final was at Lakeside or Wolves every other year do you reckon Poland would win ? do you think Hampel And Gollob would do so well if 3 gp's were at Lakeside ,Wolves and say Eastbourne ? . The point is righty or wrongly these events are ran to make money rather than it being a equal contest .
