Very well put .

No one has suggested that ..but that is not be all and end all why Belle Vue went ** up this season ....Gordon was a massive part of why is went wrong including the opening night and was quite rightly was going to be have his licence revoked , Even Morton in the end did not want to be associated with his comments or his side of the story .
-
Easy to pass judgement when you only hear one side of the story and from one angle ...lets just take in what Dave Gordons says yea he's hardly known for being honest is he ( water hose on track anyone ) ....the fault does not fall squarely at the fault of the contractors at all ... Gordons and Morton never done there due diligence in making sure that track was fit to hold a massive meeting rather that taking a gamble when quite clearly there was problems with the track . The opening meeting was a nightmare but they are as much to blame as anyone for the role they played in it .
-
I thought Phil the Ace said that cup of coffee was signing ?
-
Sky money gate money sponsors etc etc ...it must quite cheap to run a speedway team when you don't the pay for any rent or any riders ...as I said by your attitude on here when your piece finally get's in the speedway star it's only likely to be pro your mates ...your just an apologist for them .
-
Plenty of logic in trying to run some kind of a meeting ..as I said they took gamble that things would have been ok and the riders would give the track a go ..quite clearly that did not work out , Makes .more logic than refunded everyones money what clearly would cripple them All the info you give out is all pro Morton and Gordon why not give up some info if they were not paying rent or any riders where all the money went seeing your not bias in any way ...why do kept avoiding the question ?
-
I don't think it's above normality to run a meeting or meetings at the same set time before you run a massive meeting thats is a sell out ...I would say most people would say it's common sense ... I expect Morton and Gordon could never afford to pay the rent. lets be honest even without the paying the rent they were not paying anyone else . I am sure Mr Rising will explain in great detail where the money was going . I think is completely lost on you the pressure of having ride the meeting due to the money already taken ...not sure what you class as extensive testing ...you would have to be quite naïve or Stupid to think that two riders doing 10 laps each classes as that ..I guess that's when you come in Fred
-
How could anything been solved if no testing had been done under race condtions at the same time of the night the meeting was going to take place etc ....and this is where the problems and the blame is .. There was massive uncertainty if the meeting was ever going be ok to race and Morton and Gordon took a massive gamble . one that never worked out . The bottom line that meeting should have taken place when not enough testing time had been done and was only given a chance run due to amount of tickets that had been sold .
-
So all the people like havy etc etc and all the people who put it on here were just made up and got lucky when the meeting was called off ? have naïve are you ? the bottom line is up to Gordon and Morton to make sure that track was going to raceable at that time of night and clearly they had not done enough tests etc to be sure that was going to happen . No doubt your be showing documents that is was ok not to pay riders wages etc ...it's amazing that they got their promoters licence taken away as according to you it was everything was someone else's fault

lol of course they got removed ...at least try to make out your someone else ...post in another way .rather than the normal unfunny waffle, it might fool someone ..good luck -
I reckon you need to get your facts right ...it was common knowledge that the track was unfit long before the night of the meeting ...it was all over this forum and back up with comments from riders havy etc ....and come the night of meeting that was shown to be true ..the bottom line is Morton and Gordon were into deep and choose to take a gamble by running the meeting a gamble that once riders took to the track never worked . Don't know what the point of your piece in the speedway star is going to be as clearly all it's going to be doing is sticking up for your mates ..

Lol and you don't churn out the same stuff on this subject all the time ?the irony ....no one is league champions because they come top of the league as the rules that everyone knows before say so .so knowing the rules before hand has everything to do with sportsmanship and fair play as like any other sport or game sticking to rules is a massive part of that ...so to sum it up people who stick to the rules have no fair play or sportsmanship ? You said it on here about 20 times ...everyone knows that -

Who is breaking a sportmanship and fair play ? everyone knows the rules before the start of the season . -

Yet again in football they have plenty to play for so there is no need to decide the title like that ...speedway sadly does not have that option ...the season for most clubs out plays off would be over before it started and crowds would drop because of that and put clubs in trouble money wise , -

It's been explain countless times ..no one go to plays offs that don't include the league title being on the line ..it' s the same mistake people keep coming up with... plans with out any thought about how it's going to work money wise ..the old chestnut about playoffs not working is shown to wrong by working in every sport they are try . The bottom line the people who don't like play off in all sports tend to be all over 60 . -
Phil has said many things on here over the years and most tend to be wrong and so much so it become a standing joke with forum members ...so sure where you get 100 % from ..it's more like 1 %

...when that counts those days out then .
