  1. just announced there that races can awarded on the last lap now. new rule this year
  2. Don't understand how you can say Cook is a rider that has been there and not done it he has only done one event at kings lynn. Would rather he throw his toys out the pram than not give a toss about being included or not IMO.
  3. far to easy tonight Berwick were terrrible one race winner all night says it all. They also made a complete arse of the T.R. Erik just seems to get better and better each week same with Wolbert and Clegg. Sedgmen, Cook and Masters never broke a sweat and Rob had a night to forget as he was a bit all over the place. Mr Campbell also won £250 in the grand draw maybe he can put that towards the wage bill On a negative note Sam blew and engine during the meeting at some point and Cookie blew his as well at the start of heat 13.
  4. nobody uses it anyway as there are other places to sit that you don't have to pay for. Anyway onto the meeting wonderful day weather wise in Costa del Armadale so track should be perfect condition for when we give the bandits their usual hammering round the dale.
  5. Edinburgh win Cook to rack up an easy maximum and the real Kevin wolbert with his new engines to bang in double figures. Oh almost forgot. To be feeling as smug as ever when the meeting finishes, whatever time that may be this week
  6. So after last weeks good victory against the comets this week we welcome the berwick bandits. Edinburgh will ine up at full strength while Berwick will be using R/R for claus Vissing (anyone in the team can take a ride) and some how managed to get Michael Palm Toft as a guest for Voldrih who wouldn't have scored a point. Will be a lot stronger test than normal as these changes make Berwick a far better team than it would have been normally. Edinburgh to win by around 12. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Monarchs Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Kevin Wolbert Erik Riss Sam Masters Max Clegg Rob Branford Berwick Bandits Poor Wee Ben Michael Palm Toft (G) Kevin Doolan Thomas Jorgensen Claus Vissing R/R Alex Edberg Luke Crang
  7. Seemed like right at the top of frame were the handle bars and fornt and are connected came loose when he was about to enter the corner. Seen the same/similar thing happen to max Dilger at Armadale a few years back. Thankfully Tai got up and walked away as it looked nasty.
  8. just the 2 hours and 15 minutes this week compared to the 3 hours of last week. Are the new owners going to buy another new set of tapes as this weeks tapes don't work to well either? Comets might of got something today if Hansen didn't ride like a reserve and bach never had to withdraw.
  9. MISSING - Ben Barker last seen some where in the berwick area. Well entertainment value would have to be a big fat zero. Only one pass all night and that was Cookie who was super fast all night on Doolan. Anyway good win 4 points in the bag and feeling smug as ever.
  10. we only get stick because of the size not the quality of racing.
  11. No not worried about his EL form it was poor last year and still banged in big scores week in week out that better.
  12. Can't see us winning tonight with Berwick using R/R and our inability to get out of the gate can only see a defeat coming our way
  13. Good solid victory honestly thought worky would be better than but really they were shocking. Two Kevs got his new engines last Saturday and they done the business tonight. Riss was very good tonight made two great gates in his last two and won with ease the boy is some talent on a bike.
  14. Eh maybe because he was riding for belle vue when under performing and not us. If he starts under performing for us then the point your trying to make is relevant until then your just sprouting nonsense
  15. Palovaara for Greaves makes the comets a lot stronger. he will score at least double what greaves would of got. Can see the comets getting a point tomorrow night.
  16. this is an Edinburgh thread. Go and post it on the Belle Vue thread as he under performing for them not us.
  17. Why do you feel the need to jump on his back though? First EL meeting of the season and he doesn't have a good one and you come on an edinburgh thread to have a go at him, when really there is no need to. Anyway why are you having a go at him on an Edinburgh thread? should you not be posting this on a belle Vue thread as it is Belle Vue that he isn't doing as well for?
  18. First EL meeting of the season didn't have good be deal plenty more meetings left to get going. Your very quick to slate hime but never congradulate him when he has done something good . For example you banged on all last season about he won't improve he needs to go to poland blah blah blah he got himself a spot in poland and not peep from you. Anyway should you not have better things to do like continue your obsession with everything poole on their thread...
  19. Can see a Bandits win as R/R for Voldrih will get at least double what he would get.
  20. So we start our league cup campaign against the workington comets. Both teams should be at full strength for this one. Teams for Friday. Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Kevin Wolbert Erik Riss Sam Masters Max Clegg Rob Branford Workington Kenneth Hansen Ricky Wells Rene Bach Rusty Harrison Kyle Howarth Nicki Barrett Victor Palovaara Think it will be a home victory but a close one. Hansen, Wells and Bach can all score points round the Dale and Howarth and Harrison can also win races on their day. Hopefully Erik can get score some points and Kevin now with his new engines can get out the gate this week. edit - Palovaara replaces greaves (injured)
  21. Reading on facebook that Voldrih has broken his leg in Slovenia today. Shame for the guy only recently started his britsh career.
