  1. I agree with you there no PL number 1's will be on £55 a point but he will be on a lot more than any other PL number 1 in the league. Hopefully berwick get a decent crowd and it won't take a heavy hit to the promotions wallets.
  2. For Kennett to be making the choice to double down and to be making the 10-12 hour round trip to berwick and back every Saturday i think he will definatly be on a lot more than £55 a point thats for sure.
  3. The scotwaste monarchs welcome their friends from the west the Glasgow tigers for some league cup action. This will be the monarchs first home match for 2 weeks as last weeks visit of Scunthorpe was called off due to bad weather in the Armadale area. Maximum points for the boys in the blue and gold will see them safely through to the next round of the cup. Monarchs win for me by at least 20 points. The line ups for Friday: Edinburgh 'Scotwaste' Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon © Theo Pijper Max Fricke Claus Vissing Marcel Helfer Jozsef Tabaka Glasgow 'Western Commercial' Tigers Joe Screen © Joey Ringwood James Wright Henning Bager James Grieves Harley Horwood Joe Jacobs
  4. Is there not a rule about doubling up and having an average over 6 in the EL??? or something like that Good signing by Berwick as he is riding well at the moment but i don't see why he would want to double down unless he is getting paid stupid amount of money.
  5. Great point by the boys in the blue & gold looked down and out and fought back brilliantly!!! Cookie take a bow 18 point max flying at the minute. Hope Vissing's injury isn't to bad.
  6. Gates 3 & 4 tend to produce most of the race winners at Ashfield it has been like that for a couple of seasons now couldn't tell you why though
  7. Averages would tell you otherwise i'm afraid.
  8. You win some you lose some. It's just a shame you lost a good one and we snapped him up.
  9. The bate has been set now it waits for a bite.
  10. No need to set off at all as the Meeting is OFF! The one day it rains all week and it would have to be a Friday! Not really surprising though as it happens all the time.
  11. I am about 10 minutes from the track and it has been raining all morning and it doesn't look like it is going to stop.
  12. Blackbird won't score any more than bates would tomorrow as he was woeful when he was up with the Lions
  13. Forecast for Friday doesn't look good, Rain all day hopefully that will change
  14. It won't be Cook as his average is now higher than Lawsons.
  15. Well this one should be a lot closer than our other home matches this season as the scorpions have picked up 5 points in there last 2 visits (i think) to the Scotwaste arena. The scorpions come up north with 5 of the 7 riders that were here last season with the only changes being at reserve. Still think that the monarchs will be to strong for the scorpions on the night and will win by around 10 points. The teams for Friday will line up like this: Edinburgh 'Scotwaste' Monarchs Craig Cook Derek Sneddon © Theo Pijper Max Fricke Claus Vissing Marcel Helfer Jozsef Tabaka Scunthorpe 'Henderson's Insurance' Scorpions Josh Auty Thomas Jorgensen Michael Palm Toft Ashley Birks David Howe © Lewis Blackbird Ryan Douglas
  16. Statement from the BSPA stating that it had nothing to do with them. http://www.speedwayg...hp?extend.20061
  17. Only if i could get a pound for every time MJJ fan club posted nonsense on this forum!
  18. Why do you post such nonsense??? Only 3 rider posted a time under 64 seconds Barker and Cook twice With Cook having the fastest time of the night 62.5 Another point Lawsons highest score at home is 11 this season from 4 home matches Cook got 12 tonight on his first appearance of the season to Derwent park. Your heat 13 point is nonsense as Lawson has only won 1 of his 4 attempts at heat 13.
  19. Well that was a bit wet tonight but the times got a bit quicker as the night went on as the track dried out a bit. Race of the night was probably between max fricke and robin aspergren with aspergren dive bombing the young aussie only for him to cut back and drive back under aspergren going into the final bend and making it sick for his first paid maximum in the blue & gold!
  20. Lawson only has a higher average due to the rolling averages. points form first 6 matches form their programmed rides Lawson (3 home 3 away) - 7, 11, 9, 8, 10, 9 = 54 out of a possible 72 Cook (2 home 4 away) - 11, 11, 11, 10, 10, 9 = 62 out of a possible 72 Clearly shows who is currently the better rider.
  21. No, berwick are still lining up the same way except that it R/R for Ashworth. The Preview was the way the teams were expected to line up but the official line ups are on the link that i posted in my last post.
