  1. he had a cast on and got it off a few weeks ago although it still felt a bit sore he had a practice to see if it would hold up but struggled to hold on and now has to go see a specialist
  2. Afraid it won’t be the last time that’s it’s going to happen at this time of year always the same
  3. the later start was maybe to give the poole riders and fanscplenty time to get up to glasgow
  4. basso flew into stanstead late saturday night early sunday morning was picked up by his mechanic drove up sunday morning
  5. as it’s not a designated race night for them he will be at poole riding for splash the cash Tigers
  6. Think they would rather have a bit more bike time
  7. was told it was down to them wanting too much money
  8. Broc had a few meeting back home in the USA i am pretty sure he won a state championship while back home for a few weeks
  9. from what i hear they have burn the bridges with the Armadale owners
  10. with councils losing so much money with budget cuts everywhere they were always going to go for the highest bidder i wonder what was the difference between bids i think they should have tried everything to buy Armadale everything in place there just do it up over next few years surely not much difference in the price between buying it and building a new one from scratch but heard they have burnt there bridges with the owners
  11. a few clubs enquired about dropping riders for ones that have finished for the season but were told no chance
  12. Rubbish nothing to do with the fence FIM events here have to have a polyfoam fence it’s part of the regulations
  13. agree belle vue redcar and glasgow are great racing tracks and not much home advantage all riders love riding tracks like this
  14. if you read jan staechmanns post falls at glasgow had nothing to do with the track
  15. it would not matter where the gate was 3rd 4th bend is ridden differently it’s the entry into the first bend where every rider heads for it’s was like spongy clay about a meter and a half in diameter and there wasn’t really any way you could avoid it going into the corner it’s alway been there lots of tracks have the same problem but some use other materials it’s the same bit that gets the most use where the bike really turn hard to try keep it on the inside line some use clay to stop it rutting braking up its usually no problem when it’s dry or just a bit soft on top but too much rain and it won’t dry properly hence why they set fire to it to try dry it out leicester had the same problem but they filled it in with concrete but might be changed now the smaller tighter track are the worst because the bikes need to turn really hard i think plymouth tried there hardest to get it on and hoped it would dry out but never did as the promotor said it’s speedway damed if you do damed if you don’t
  16. they wanted to do that at a NL meeting we were at but riders said it wouldn’t work so they tried to fix the exact same spot as last night and ended up ripping up the complete corner knackering the meeting and we all went home
  17. I can tell you Both sets of riders agreed in the pits that it was pretty dangerous nothing to do with the referee really the part that was soft and spongy was on the riders line entering turn one and any rider hitting it would have picked up and sent them straight into the fence if it was a bigger track you could have maybe rode around it
