Heard a rumour (we all know about them) lol , that Joey's visa was never refused as it was never applied for in the 1st place..
-
I do believe it's down to the clubs, but also think riders should play a part in making sure these are in place . After all it is there liveyhood ?
-
Why should the BSPA have an expert to deal with the visa's ? Thought it was down to the clubs to apply for these. ? Surely if each club applied in time or getting a 3 year visa these problems wouldn't happen as often. When it happened last year to Sam and mason , you would think clubs would have been aware of the problems ?

Can only say having doc doing the track is the best signing Glasgow have made in years
-
Think last year was just max settling in, think he will put at least 2 points onto his average this season.
-
Any news on ringwoods visa or is someone else lined up ?
-
Lol so who is working on getting these riders into the country then ??
-
Don't think it's all threw though, From what I've heard they can apply for a tier 5 application, but the decision is handled in an office In Manila . So the BSPA can do all the ground work and still be refused entry. If clubs had just followed the guidelines in the start none of this would be happening. Good luck though

visa's have only changed last season by the british goverment. 2 clubs last season were caught unaware of the rule change (somerset and workington) and was very public. with it happening last season it shouldn't happen again as clubs are now aware of it. its pretty simple DONT LET THE VISA RUN OUT apply for it before it expires. or clubs can apply for a 2 or 3 year visa. not al clubs have this problem, maybe they are just more organazied that others ? riders or clubs can apply for the visa months before it runs out. so why dont they ?

Scott Wilson is the best announcer in speedway.

-
Surprised if glasgow go for lemon, i mean he doesn't normally go well at armadale either. thought glasgow were building a team to win at edinburgh ?? lol
-
Just make sure they meet the criteria for getting a work permit
-
Now remember Glasgow Its 4 HOME and 4 AWAY "LEAGUE" Matches before a rider becomes YOUR asset lol
-
dont worry nagy1, i very much doubt wolbert will give up riding in poland. and i believe deek has already signed for someone else.
-
GLASGOW mentality !!!! Edinburgh build a team to win the league, not just to beat there west coast rivals !!
-
think theo could have been in the team along side cookie, but prob would have had to go with 2 3.00 riders at reserve. sorry to see theo leave and wish him well at his new club (even if it is those in the west) lol
-
if he's a guest for someone then i wouldn't be surprised either. heard he's doing poland next season.
-
Think while Cook can "double up" he will make the most of it. As he has quoted saying he can't get a danish or swedish team just now. Hope to see him back in the colours of Blue and Gold

Rene Bach guests for Ben Barker now, Barker must be picking and choosing matches ? Aggravated his injury from Newcastle ?

when the Edinburgh team submitted this team to the referee on TUESDAY why did it take till 1hour before the start of the meeting to question r/r for theo pijper ?? think directing the blame solely at edinburgh is a bit unfair . Who are we taking about here ? -
taken from the glasgow website Andre’s level of performance was the determining factor and we are delighted to advise that we now have Management Committee approval for him to join the club, initially on a 28 day contract, as agreed to by his parent club Sheffield. Having been out of the saddle for the best part of 3 years, Andre’s starting average has been re-assessed at 5.97. just looked up his average from 2010 with workington was 5.97 ? so how has it been re-assessed ?

Glasgow Tigers V Edinburgh Monarchs Lc 26/5/13 @3p.m.
yoda replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I doubt if fisher would give up riding in poland, to ride for the tigers. Magnus would certainly be a welcome addition , he has the capability to be a 3rd heat leader, but i think the biggest change glasgow need to make is changing the team manager. Heard from several people he is not the man for the job. -
I believe so, heard that the ref's box has already been moved, there is also a rumour that a temporary grandstand will be put on the new 1st bend to provide more viewing area. Its funny that people are complaining about the start line being moved, as i seem to recall all this a few years ago when they were going to move it to the other side, personally i think its better being able to stand close to the start. with there being no viewing as we know yet on the 1st bend, how many other northern tracks have viewing on the 1st and 2nd bends ??? only Redcar and berwick.

no thats 5, but you'll find that sheffield got a work permit for Koppe LAST SEASON
