Unfortunately Woffinden finished at this level you can clearly see he doesn’t want to mix it

Makes you wonder if they watch the racers before they go out .bends 1/2 outside doing ok bends 3/4 not working yet

Agree last year the race between Kerr Woffy and Fricke was brilliant.Kerr in front and Woffy covering him for 4 laps with Fricke all over his back wheel team riding at it’s finest

Watched a little of it had no sound .Michelson seemed upset what was his problem.I can t get on with the qualifying malarkey ,preferred it when they picked starting numbers out of the bag and every point in the heats counted

Heat 2 don’t think Mountain realised it was Bailey along side him going into bend 3 and pushed him wide .heat 14 a difficult one I thought Bailey was doing ok swapping him with Mountain could have had a different outcome but it’s all if s and buts .I personally enjoyed the meeting seeing the GP lads in heats 13/15 going at it brilliant.Woffy lifting bend 3/4 missing holder bewley quick to switch back and get under him going into bend 1 these lads can ride them bikes .Finished on time hopefully you we re back on the M1 by 21.45 lol

Did you go back over the woodhead or the snake don’t like either in the dark .I thought Belle Vue would hang on but the last 3 heats it all changed some good racing tonight well done to both teams

1st meeting of the season for me enjoyed it some good close hard racing score close right up to the end.heat 9 felt for Mountain made a great start in the lead Bewley passed him and went and for the rest of the race had holder and Pickering all over his back wheel losing out on the last bend the lad worked his socks off and finished last .Heat 13 3 GP riders going at it for 4 laps riding so close great to watch. Heat 15 the same Woffinden and jack team riding with Dan right on their back wheels great stuff well done to all the riders

Used to be on the left of the turn styles against the wall but not too sure now .I usually manage to find a space up 1 of the side roads . 1st trip down this year ,think it’s going to be a close contest

Gutted to be out didn’t expect Woffinden to win but thought he d make the semifinals easily how wrong can you get a very poor performance from him well done and good luck to everyone still in thanks for running the competition again R/R pity I couldn’t stay in a little longer

I am over in Lodge moor / Fulwood light drizzle here 50/50 if I decide to go .suppose it depends on the track if it can cope with more rain .not a lover of speedway on a wet track .pity we couldn’t have the meeting this morning bloody beautiful lol

Ipswich this year could do it ,big top two Ellis will be up for it king knows his way around owlerton .with Dan Thomson at reserve if he takes points of our reserve s it could go either way

Ipswich favourites to finish top for me .I think they ve got the best top 2 in the league.If they get Adam Ellis going along with King middle order looks solid .Rew could be the one dropping in and out of the reserve berth I liked what I saw in Dan Thompson hopefully he ll have an injury free season The next 3 places are up for grabs .Sheffield have solid 1/5 but the reserves ?. Belle Vue have got riders that should improve think the key men for them Kurtz Cook and Mountain at reserve Oxford look nice and solid (be nice if Harris could ride in the silly play offs final for his own team lol) Kings lynn could make it also can see Leicester then Birmingham in that order but who knows what will happen Hopefully we’ll get to see some good racing and not any serious injuries for the riders

Please don’t mock anyone who has a go at riding a speedway bike I ve tried and it’s bloody scary
