Leicester vs King’s Lynn - Thursday 21st March

Are you sure? The last few years the racing has been fine. Better than a lot of the other tracks around. Multiple passes in multiply heats. You’ve obviously not been to Leicester. -

I think you’re a little harsh saying that the track is never a decent racing strip. Last night, you could see that the track was still very wet and I’m guessing that track prep was hard with the amount of rain we’ve had over the last few weeks. Race times were down by about 1-1.5 seconds. There has been some fabulous meetings in the passed few years with plenty of passing. Extensive work on the track throughout the close season has taken place so once it settles down and we get some sun on the track, it will start to produce again. As someone said about heat 2. The race wasn’t stopped (red flagged) and Rowe finished the race and a time given. I’m guessing because neither of the Leicester riders were under power they were both excluded. If it had happened earlier in the lap, Joe might have been awarded 2nd. -

Kyle Howarth got it spot on a couple of weeks ago in hie post match interview. He said the more you attack the track, the more you get out of it. There have been some cracking races there this season. Unfortunately, all teams are not equal. -

Only a puncture stopped Cleggy from scoring a point. -

What a brilliant team Plymouth have put together. Well done all concerned. Got to be one of the favourites for the league. -
Leicester Lions 2022 Line up

My guess would be either Danny King or Richie Worrall. -
So let’s get this right. Your nights viewing was poor because of a big crowd and a lot of shale on the track. isn’t that what most people want from speedway?

Scunny v Leicester 3.9.21
Honey Monster replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Dougy looked another class around there last night. Summers was a brilliant guest and Kennedy looked like he enjoyed himself there. Solid performances from Howarth and Andersen. Surprised the twins didn’t score. Big praise to Mountain. Looked great at Scunny. An enjoyable meeting. With a great Leicester win. -

What you have to remember, the track was underwater up until late last night. They did really well to get a meeting on. I enjoyed the meeting again last night. Heat 13 was the best race at BP. -

We have been totally spoiled this year by Stewart. We have 4 number 1’s in our team. -

Agreed, it’s about what he does on track, but if he’s not ridden the track in 3 years and it’s change a lot. He’ll have learned a lot about his set up for Leicester last night. He is still a class act. -

I can’t believe what I’m reading. the match was over and done in 92 mins. The track grading was done efficiently and produced a good racing track with hardly any dust. Why are people so keen to get it over and done with? It was a lovely night. Hans Andersen is definitely a No1 at this level. He was finding his feet last night. If you’d have read his Twitter and Facebook posts, he said it’s been 3 years and the track has changed lots. speedway fans. So fickle!!!!! -
How’s that work then?

Got to say, I thought the attendance was good on Saturday night. Can’t be far short of the last season’s attendances? -
If a double change was made, then Anderson could come in with someone else. Maybe Jake Knight? 2nd highest average in NL and scored a max against the Cubs earlier in the year. Anderson’s average would be around 8.6.

Would Luke Becker come in on an assessed average or a calculated average using his Premiership figures? I don’t think he’s ridden Championship before.

Pity we couldn’t get Jorgensen or Ostergaard to guest. -
Are the rising star reserve protected from go king into the main body of the team? Just thinking at this rate, Leon Flint will be No1 for Berwick.

The Lion Cubs are shaping up to be a very competitive team in this league
