I think that Britain and Australia will return too many zeros to win it. Its between Poland and Denmark for me with Poland just sneaking it.
GB for the wooden spoon I fear.
Do you not remember the 90's before sky had there chance? Speedway was never on tv. Tv companies had there chance to snap up speedway I am sure but didnt want it. It was a dead dog.
What sky have done for this sport has been fantastic. They have taken it to the next level. Yes crowds might have fallen but I am sure that most teams havent lost out as they get a lump sum pre season every year from sky. For me, as a Bradford fan, it has been a life saver.
Long may sky's monopoly continue.
They were really worth watching. I was cheering them all the way!! Cant wait to see them in Poland where they really can get it all wound on. One thing though, they always looked like they are were a second from crashing, I bet the other riders are terrified at having to face them come Thursday.
In the end I thought better of it and got a curry take out instead.
And yes it really did drag on although there was enough happening to keep me awake which is more than can be said for Saturdays farce.
I fell asleep whilst watching this last night. That just about sums up the meeting for me. Even Sky who really do put on good coverage of our sport struggled with the follow me leader stuff.
I just hope that any new fans that were converted after Cardiff didnt tune into it. It was boring with a capital B.
Ok, I know the odds for tonight and I know whos riding for who but, with GB being so short odds wise, does anyone think that Sweden are worth 20 quid at 5/2? Have they any chance?
I arnt sure how Max is riding at the moment and whether PK is any good around Cov. I fancy a punt but I dont want to throw my money away like....
What a great idea, shame I dont have that kind of money to add to it though.
Hans has gone up in my estimation ten fold, I might even give him a cheer on Saturday now.................. Might
Having used the spreadsheet to forecast tonights meeting I have Bomber scoring 1 point tonight. No matter how many times I look at the races I cant help but think he is a fish out of water. I fully expect him to do a Andy Smith and be half a lap behind the leader in most of his heats.
I have backed Hampel and Jonsson both e/w for tonight, I figure you need fast bikes and good starts in Italy and at those prices they stand out.
