It's not so much the speed, it's the bucking bronco's they have become. A motorcycle has to be predictable to be safe, but that's not the case with speedway bikes in the last few years. Certainly never happened when i was riding at Mildenhall on a two valve Jawa in the last century..

They have got faster, track records are still being broken. The main problem is the way they pick up drive and lift, although this could possibly be a combination of engine and the new silencers...

The engines need pegging back imo, all these injuries are leaving a real nasty taste in the mouth...

Surprised this is not on Sky, as it's likely to be a crucial meeting for both teams and the Robins. Dakota North could prove key for the Pirates as Gomolski is unlikely to score many...
